The following comes from a Siliconera interview with Inti Creates CEO Takuya Aizu...

“Most projects involve non-disclosure agreements. Therefore, basically, we cannot exchange information between each title. All of this game (Gunvolt) is invested in and developed by Inti Creates.”

The following info comes from Azure Striker Gunvolt director Yoshihisa Tsuda...

“Actually, I can’t explain the concrete difference between Azure Striker Gunvolt and Mighty No. 9 because I haven’t heard details from the Mighty No. 9 team. Azure Striker Gunvolt’s goal is to let the player enjoy a sense of high speed and . That said, I’m also looking forward to Mighty No. 9, personally.”

Inti-Creates will be self-publishing Gunvolt in NA and Japan. It is wholly-owned by Inti-Creates, with Mighty No. 9 is owned by Comcept.
