Sure, it might not have "traveled through time" or whatever your "fact-based" interpretation of our statement was, but it's of a fictional post-apocalyptic world and that's more than enough for us. Heck, there's talk of the next evolution of human beings even. That's about as futurey as you could possibly want, right?!
