Quick question: Now that MCSharp be open source, best I have a go at creating custom content for the server? I be not brilliant at C#, but I be willing t' have a go if ye lads would like extra features.
Right, first I be gonna work on a few internal things that'll help with running the server (restart command, enhanced log, physics command for ops), then I'll start adding new features. The url for the beta server will be the same as the old server (the one I ran on me PC). Don't expect it t' be on constantly though, since it'll only be up when I be testing stuff.
Yeah, I've seen the logs 'n knew ye lads would appreciate that. So far I've managed t' make /physics usable by ops, upgraded the log so that it records how many blocks a player builds 'n destroys each session (this will greatly help me in tracking down griefers) 'n modified /whois 'n /whowas t' also display alts that the user has.
The bad news: Crazy spai's been having trouble with his VPS, so the server be currently down 'n may stay down for a little while. The server appears t' be back up now, but I don't know how stable it be.
The good news: I've moved the new server files into place, so as soon as the server be brought back up the new features will be ready.
Next feature needs t' include the ability t' build Scurge a the Sea blocks off a Scurge a the Sea blocks because It makes it impossible t' fill something up with a substance

On joining, the server will now tell ye how many other players be online.
Developers 'n Supporters now have custom username colors (except when the user be an Op or SuperOp)
Modified heartbeat data so I can keep track a all servers using the custom MCSharp software.
The server will now alert Ops 'n SuperOps if the server software becomes outdated.
Temporarily disabled /restart since it be not working correctly.
Again, it be mostly internal stuff, but I be about ready t' start working on game features now - post any features ye would like in this topic 'n I'll see what I can do (Keep in mind the more complicated a feature be the longer it will take for me t' code it).

Portals be working, but there's still a bug or two that I need t' fix.
'n be nice t' the lad who hosts the server for us, if it wasn't for the sea dog there would be no server at all.
Crazy Spai's been having trouble paying for his server lately, although our server won't be affected (he'll move it over t' his local pc if need be) I be sure he'd appreciate it if ye would consider making a donation - once he's downgraded it the server will cost $20/month.
Crazy spai's currently looking for a better provider 'n had t' take the old one down, I'll speak with the sea dog 'n see if he can pillage the server running on his home pc soon.
