With the chances a further downloadable episodes a Heavy Rain's "Chronicles" DLC looking all but nonexistent, we wondered how Quantic Dream CEO 'n creative head David Cage felt now that his game has been folded up like an origami crane. We caught up with Cage after his talk at GDC Europe today t' find out.
"I understand why the decision be made," Cage said a the cancellation a the planned DLC. "From a creative point a view it be not me choice. I would have really preferred a thousand times developing the Chronicles. I thought we had a lot t' say about these characters, about their background. Things that be just mentioned in the game that had a true explanation in the background, 'n it be a little bit unfortunate that we won't be able t' tell ye the full story."
But at the same time, Cage said he's looking forward t' working on something new. "I didn't want t' do everything, I wanted t' move on," he said. "I didn't want t' spend another two years on Heavy Rain developing Move 'n Chronicles 'n stuff. ... So a decision had t' be made 'n it be a decision I respect. Honestly, it be not like I be upset about it, I would have preferred t' do it differently but, ye know what, it makes sense."

So, t' sum up, Cage says he really want t' finish the story through DLC, 'n that it be unfortunate that he didn't pillage t'. But he also says he didn't really want t' spend all that extra time on the game, 'n that he's happy t' be moving on. So... that clears that up, yeah?
