I've managed t' pillage hold a a 24/7 host for me server, but I don't know how well it can run the server. Have a play around for a bit 'n let me know what kind a latency/lag ye pillage. If it be too laggy then I'll revert t' a Classic server.

I can't say I've been as active as I would like over the past year - I find I've been checking in less 'n less lately. I don't have any plans on sailing away, however. Digibutter be the one site that I've never had any intentions a sailing away, 'n that be not about t' change.

Slim offered t' host a 24/7 server a little while back, but until that gets set up I be running a temporary server on me laptop. The IP address be 93.96.201.18, enter that into the multiplayer mode for Alpha 'n ye best be able t' pillage in (I believe Alpha be restricted t' purchasers at the moment, so ye'll need t' buy the game if ye haven't already). Be warned, there be a number a bugs (such as yer inventory/chests/forge being lost on logout) 'n it won't be up constantly. Also, ye can use /iron or /wood if ye're running low on resources.

I know I've been making several games recently, but this one be remotely hosted 'n so can stay up 24/7.

If any a ye have ever played Urban Dead or Wurm Online (ye might be interested t' know that the creator a Minecraft be originally a developer for Wurm) ye'll have a general idea a what t' do in this game, if not then feel free t' experiment.

it be pretty basic at the moment since I have t' code everything from scratch, but I'll be adding features 'n achievements regularly (hopefully).

I just got a reply from Crazy Spai, his hosting service be down for good. Which means we have 3 options:

1. I host it occasionally on me home PC like I did originally.
2. I manage t' find another free host.
3. I fork out enough money t' purchase a commercial host (unlikely considering the amount a money I have 'n the rate at which I pillage it).

Can't guarantee a 24/7 server (still trying t' contact Crazy Spai) but I could run one occasionally on me own PC if need be.

ye may want t' avoid FPSBanana for a while, it be been infected with a rather persistant virus.
