Have you voted in our Mega May poll? If you haven't, make your handheld Mega Man preference known! Whatever receives the highest number of votes will release first on 5/1, followed by the remaining Game Boy and Game Boy Color Mega Man titles.
We're one week into the process and right now the top three look like this (in no particular order):

Mega Man V

Mega Man Xtreme

Mega Man Xtreme 2

A portion of a TXH interview with Snowcastle's Bendik Stang...

TXH: Kickstarter is your main hope behind funding this, once the goals are complete what is the next step? What happens if the worst happens and your targets aren’t reached? Do you have a Plan B?

BS: Once we are successful we’ll ramp up production of Earthlock! We have collaborated with great people to get Earthlock to the alpha state it’s in, and once we see the funds we can bring those people aboard again and speed up production of story, assets and get the game out by 2015. As for plan B, yes we are looking at other ways of getting the funds we need, but nothing is certain. One thing we know for sure is that we will not lie down and give up.

A portion of a NWR review...

Advance Wars still proves an entertaining time and is a must-have for everyone in love with the strategy genre. While the game can be a bit harsh at times, it is always fair and plays quite solid after all.

I don't know if I'm really, really behind on this, but I had no knowledge of this story.

GamesRadar put together a feature on game glitches that became features. According to them, the original Super Mario Bros. wasn't supposed to have question mark blocks that popped out multiple coins. This was a glitch that the programmers set out to scrap. They actually changed their mind when they saw how that multi-coin glitch impacted gameplay. The idea to have one coin per block was scrapped and the glitch became a feature.

I'll repeat this later in the day, but for the 3 AM (Central) crowd...I'm done. I squashed all of the bugs that were plaguing many devs.

A portion of a Nintendo Life review...

I am an Air Traffic Controller Airport Hero Hawaii is a tough game to judge. Beneath its oddly worded wrapper lies a sim that was obviously crafted with care toward the details of the job. It’s this strict adherence to the details and calls for perfection, however, that make it difficult to recommend to everyone, especially at a relatively high launch price point.

We have no idea how long Wii U fans will be waiting to go hands-on with Watch_Dogs. While you wait, why not check out a Facebook promotional game? That is, as long as you don't mind giving Ubisoft access to your Facebook account...

Looks like the 2DS might have a future in Japan as well. Nintendo seems to be entertaining that idea at the very least. They now have a trademark for 2DS in Japan, so we'll see what happens from here!

- new Bandai Namco listing for “Smash Bros. 6” job recruitments
- looking for programmers
- expected to be released sometime in 2015 for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS
- project currently has 120 people working on it
- expect that number to increase to 200
- programmers needed to handle characters, stages, 3D programming, motion, game mode, mini-games, menu, UI, and more
- the posting is now removed, but has been confirmed to be put online by Tatsuya Matsumura, a consultant

“Social games are currently a big hit, but the current state of job opportunities for making retail games is critically low. In the midst of this, this will likely be your only chance to be part of a development project for the Smash Bros. [series], which has surpassed a total of 10 million in worldwide sales. And Bandai Namco believes that now is the best time to recruit programmers for retail games.”
