"Pikmin 3" is easily the most well-rounded title of the franchises, and seemingly justifies its delayed release. Even if there (still) wasn't a drought for retail releases on the Wii U, "Pikmin 3" would be a standout title, and something that everyone with a Wii U should sit down, figure out, and enjoy.
The campaign flows well with comprehensible, albeit familiar main missions, tricky sidequests and tough boss battles. The side content of five timed treasure hunt maps and five timed enemy-battling maps provide even greater challenges.
Try to divvy up your Pikmin when assigning them to different tasks. For instance, don't just throw out all 10 of your Red Pikmin to take down a wall, or carry a large object. You may need a few Red Pikmin to kill a certain fire based enemy, and they'll all be back at the base, missing in action.
It’s a thoughtful solution for a game that screams charm and elegance. Pikmin 3 is a must-play for Wii U owners, and the first true reason to pick one up if you haven't already.
The official Pikmin 3 site is now up-and-running. If you haven't had your fill of screens and footage yet, you can hop over at the link below and snoop around. There are even some wallpapers to grab!
