Power: You can't use health recovery items in Crisis mode, so use the Crisis Recovery power to guarantee your safety!

Weapon: A copy of a legendary, curved sword, the Samurai Blade is the strongest of all blades for close combat.

Enemy: Monoliths freely fly about ignoring gravity. They repel all attacks so you must avoid them in order to proceed.

Item: Walk over the Giant Maker to become a giant. This effect adds strength but makes you a much bigger target, too!

Enemy: Stackjaws fire lasers in a 360° radius and can't be beaten unless you take out their topmost portion.

Vehicle: The Cherubot is the combat armour of the gods: overwhelming destructive might yet limited mobility.

Weapon: Like an excavation tool, the Drill Arm plows through enemies with its charged shot, which does ongoing damage.

Weapon (1/2): Shock Orbitars gather their energy from the flaps of Pit's wings, releasing electric projectiles that disperse on impact. Their speed and range are nothing spectacular, but their charged shots have a high homing ability.

Enemy: Nearly all the Treasure Boxes you see were from Treasurefish. Take them down in battle to reap rich rewards!

Use Virus to weaken and paralyse nearby foes. 'Weaken' will reduce the opponent's health to half and increases the damage they take. 'Paralyse' will stop their movement from time to time. (Multiplayer only)

Enemy: Once part of Palutena's Army, Collins are now cursed to fly about firing the toxic Phil bugs living inside them.

Power: Energy Charge lets you build up energy and increase your attack power. Taking damage nullifies this effect.

Weapon: The Somewhat Staff has quick and accurate strikes like a Blade but its mobility is still low.

Multiplayer stage: The Rail Temple's grind rail allows for movement at high speed - but along a predictable path.

Enemy: Posing as a chest, Mimicutie attacks with a flurry of kicks. She doles out more broken shins than answers.

Boss: Dark Lord Gaol leads hordes of troops on a violent crusade. He also seems to know Magnus, the mighty swordsman.

Weapon: The Angel Bow's shots are slow and not very strong, but - like love - they relentlessly pursue their target.

Weapon: Strike your foes with Wolf Claws to set them on fire, dealing additional damage.

Power: Bumblebee lets you dodge attacks by vanishing and instantly circling the enemy. They won't know what hit 'em!

Enemy: The Komayto creature looks like a certain alien life-form… Melee it before it latches on and drains your energy!

Item: The Eggplant Bomb contains the essence of the Eggplant Wizard's dark magic, turning its victims into aubergines.

Weapon: Backward dashes with the Royal Blade are most powerful, making this time-worn heirloom perfect for hit-and-run!

Boss: Twinbellows the Ferocious is a two-headed dog Pit fought 25 years ago. Now it's back, more ferocious than ever!
