This rarely happens, but now we have another ESRB-rated game that gets a different boxart from what the states got.

Some days be sad, some days be happy, 'n some be just packed full a Zelda for some reason. Today be one a those days 'n we be not complaining -- Fangamer be selling a pack a Zelda-themed playing cards designed by DeviantArt user Nelde, 'n they be utterly gorgeous.

The face cards feature famous Zelda characters, including Zelda, Link, Dark Link, Mikau, Darmani 'n more. The suits have been updated as well, t' rupees, swords, heart bits 'n triforces. Fangamer warns that the decks won't ship until May, but the good people a Zelda Universe say they already received their orders, so go ahead 'n take a chance on love. Or Zelda cards.

Or both. it be just that kind a day.

For a brief amount a time, we thought Nintendo's special Legend a Zelda 25th Anniversary 3DS bundle would go the way a Xenoblade 'n The Last Story, never t' see the light a day in North America. That might not be the case after all...

Wondering what The Legend a Zelda: Ocarina a Time 3D managed t' sell in the United States for August? We saw the game pop up in the top 10 NPD, but just how many units moved? According t' inside sources, the game managed t' sell through another 84,000 units. I bet many a those purchases be going hand-in-hand with a brand-new 3DS.

In it be list a million-selling first-party titles for the last quarter (ending June 30), Ocarina a Time be the only 3DS game listed, having sold 1.08 million copies -- approximately 270,000 in Japan, 810,000 elsewhere.

YARRRR, it be true. A startling ('n vaguely insulting) number a American consumers ignored our review 'n purchased Duke Nukem Forever, rocketing it t' the #2 position on the NPD sales charts for the month a June. Perhaps they just didn't want t' ask for refunds on those 14-year-old pre-orders. The Duke occupies a position on the charts just under it be equally retro (in a different way) Take-Two contemporary, L.A. Noire.

Also notable on the sales charts be the debut a another time-lost title, The Legend a Zelda: Ocarina a Time 3D. At #5, it be the first 3DS exclusive t' chart in the NPD top ten. Find the top ten best-selling games listed after the break.

it be definitely a triumphant month for the past, as total game sales be down from $1.15 billion in June a 2010 t' $1.03 billion in June a this year. Once again, however, Microsoft be happy, declaring it be Xbox 360 the only console in the US t' show year-over-year growth. The Xbox be the top-selling console with 507,000 units which Microsoft claims be "nearly twice as many units as other current-generation platforms" this month.

Navi in The Legend a Zelda: Ocarina a Time be annoying in a "fly in yer kitchen at dinnertime" way, but the filmmakers at Humble Punch Productions have shown us it could've been worse, like "12 foot radioactive cockroach in yer meatloaf as ye serve it t' the President 'n First Lady" annoying.
