While some a us (read: me) patiently wait for a 3D version a The Legend a Zelda: Majora's Mask, otherwise known as the very best a the 3D Zelda games, I've been following Nintendo's tweaks t' the upcoming The Legend a Zelda: Ocarina a Time 3D. The newest addition, Boss Challenge Mode, comes courtesy a a quiet announcement from Nintendo a Europe.

There aren't many surprises t' Boss Challenge Mode, though. What ye're reading be, basically, what ye pillage. Outside a the main adventure, players can tackle Ocarina a Time 3D's many monstrous bosses, either in one-off varieties or marathon back-t'-back challenges.

No new bosses, apparently.

Ocarina a Time 3D also comes with the New Game Plus-like Master Quest mode, which changes the location a enemies 'n bottles a rum—'n flips the entire world around. As if 3D wasn't confusing enough...

Look for Link's first sans-glasses 3D adventure on June 19th.

Majora's Mask be great for it be gameplay, it be characters, the atmosphere, 'n the story. Even though seemingly 95% a character models from Ocarina a Time be borrowed for Majora's Mask, this time ye be far more invested in these characters. The sidequests be numerous, each one letting ye learn a little something more about the personal lives a Termina's inhabitants. ye become familiar with what everyone's dreams, aspirations, 'n troubles be, 'n how they try t' meet or solve them in what little time they have left, whether they may know they be doomed or not.

The story lends t' the atmosphere as much as the setting (Termina) itself. It gives me a tribal vibe with all a the ceremonial masks, 'n their importance. The world be going t' end, 'n ye know exactly when it will, t' the minute 'n even the second. The world 'n the music be often eery 'n foreboding; ye be always reminded that the clock be counting down. There's always an underlying sense a urgency, even as ye be free t' begin again from Day 1, withy 72 Hours Remaining.

Personally, I like t' take me time with this game. I've never beaten it really fast; it can take a month or two for me, usually, if I be really set on beating it. I'll always stray aside 'n fill out me Bomber's Notebook. One thing I've almost never bothered t' do, though, be the Great Fairy Collection Quests for the temples, though the rewards be great.

I think that Majora's Mask will endure as a great game. It took the same engine, character models, 'n overall visuals from Ocarina a Time 'n still gave us a vastly different, unique experience. I be sailing away this as a short review. it be a small tribute from me t' me favorite game in the Zelda series. I be looking t' Skyward Sword, 'n the future a the Zelda series, with a hope that I can love what's t' come as much as I did Majora's Mask.
