Europa Universalis IV: Muslim Advisor Portraits, all new content for Europa Universalis IV is Now Available on Steam!

Europa Universalis IV: Muslim Advisor Portraits contains new, unique advisor portraits for the Muslim cultures.

A total of 21 new portraits, created by the talented artists at Paradox South, will enhance the visual experience of playing as a Muslim ruler in Europa Universalis IV.

Deus Ex: The Fall has the gall to declare exactly when it'll infiltrate the Steam compound, and that's March 25. The enhanced PC version of the iOS and Android action-RPG will be priced $10 in North America, £8/10 euros in Europe, and pre-orders will snag a copy of Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition as an augmentation. We've reached out to Square Enix to see if there'll be Mac and Linux versions of the port in addition to Windows PC.

In addition to usual Steam doodads like trading cards and achievements, Square Enix says the PC version of The Fall includes AI adjustments, a revised tutorial, controller support, and a Deus Ex: Human Revolution-like toggling between cover styles. One element that's missing from the mobile version is microtransactions, with game economy rebalanced to accommodate. You can find a fuller list of the tweaks and additions here.

Square Enix brought The Fall to iOS and Android last year, and while it's set in the same gold-hued world of Human Revolution, it follows the events of the game's prequel novel, The Icarus Effect, and stars Ben Saxon rather than DX:HR protagonist Adam Jensen.

While we never asked for this, it'll be interesting to see how n-Fusion's mobile reworking of Eidos Montreal's formula translates back onto PC. In our Portabliss column, Xav de Matos said that although the game is enjoyable, with it "populated world, unenthusiastic story, and drastic dips in quality, Deus Ex: The Fall lacks the same passion that made Human Revolution one of 2011's best video games." Larian Studios' latest high fantasy epic, Divinity: Original Sin, is now slated for a Spring release, and to whet players' appetites, the developer has issued the above trailer, titled "Spring Is Coming."

According to a press release issued by Larian, the Spring launch window will allow the developer to utilize more of the feedback it has received from the game's Kickstarter backers, as well as those playing the game's Early Access incarnation. "Divinity: Original Sin features a huge and reactive RPG world with unparalleled 2-player co-op, and Larian is taking the time necessary to make it right and polished," the developer stated.

If you'd rather not wait a few nebulous months to dig into Divinity: Original Sin, there's still time to join the Early Access test. Hexcells and its standalone expansion, Hexcells Plus, are now available on Steam for PC, Mac and Linux users.

Both games play a bit like the Picross series - players are presented with designs made out of hexagons at the start of each level. The black, numbered hexagons tell a player how many pieces of the final design are touching the black spaces, but players need to determine which of the orange hexagons are extra black hexagons and which are hidden blue hexagons. As players mark each orange space, the correct choices will turn blue, while miscalculations add to the Mistakes counter of a level.

Each game is $2.99, but they can also be bought in a bundle for $4.99. Hexcells seems like the sort of puzzler we would laugh off the complexity of, right before frying our brains over levels like this. [Image: Matthew Brown]

Garry Newman's physics sandbox, Garry's Mod, has surpassed $30 million in revenue, the creator has revealed on Twitter. The $10 download has been available on Steam since 2006.

More surprising, however, is Newman's latest Rust, which has already earned him more than Garry's Mod. In a follow-up tweet, Newman said Rust sales have earned .34 percent more for the indie developer.

Rust, a sandbox survival game inspired by DayZ, has only been on Steam for about two months. More than one million individuals have purchased Rust, which is currently available as an Early Access release for $20. [Image: Garry Newman]

1954: Alcatraz is a gritty, San Francisco-based point-and-click adventure about crime, doing time and the dark side of mid-century American perfection. It's due out for PC on March 11 for $20 on Steam and GOG, published by adventure game veteran Daedalic Entertainment and developed by Irresponsible Games.

The game includes two playable characters, Joe and Christine, husband and wife - Joe is behind bars and Christine can help him escape, but she doesn't have to. 1954: Alcatraz incorporates beatnik culture, jazz, high-stakes crime and loads of cash, all in a 3D, comic book art style. Player decisions "extensively influence the plot and lead to various endings," Irresponsible promises.

Irresponsible was founded by Gene Mocsy, the designer and artist of Quake 3's engine levels, course artist for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2003 and 2005, and the world modeler for James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing, among other feats.
