Despite first appearances, Deus Ex: Human Revolution turned out to be an elegant game when it came to translating choice into gameplay. Where the opening hours suggest a simple shoot-or-sneak dichotomy, the reality of most people's playthroughs will have been a mix of vent-crawling, emergency takedowns, gratuitous violence and building fortresses of crates to hide yourself from security cameras and patrolling guards whilst hacking into someone's email...

Do you want to know what happens in the second half of the Deus Ex DLC, The Missing Link? No, nor me. But for some reason that’s information Eidos have put into a walkthrough trailer, narrated by game designer Antoine Thisdale. You can watch it below, if you like to know what happens far in games before you’ve played them.

After going hands-on with the first hour of Deus Ex: The Missing Link, I can safely say that anyone that enjoyed the base game will feel right at home with the upcoming DLC. I snuck through vents, knocked out unsuspecting guards with brutal canned animations, and read plenty of snarky employee emails...

The stakes are high in the upcoming Deus Ex: Human Revolution downloadable content, called The Missing Link. They're so high, apparently, that protagonist Adam Jensen forgot his shirt...
