It's not just that it's a black and white pool game. Golf isn't a looker but it surprisingly sophisticated while this is simply the worst game currently available for the 3DS Virtual Console.

A portion of a Nintendo Life review...

Side Pocket on Game Boy is a relic best left unearthed. Instead of spending money on it, go to a pool hall and get hustled by a real person as you'll at least feel like you had a say in losing.

This old-school billiards sim was a fairly prolific design around 20 years ago, as developer Data East did its best to bring the game of pool out of smoke-filled lounges and sports bars and onto video game systems.
