Now that I look back on it, a lot of the character and enemy designs were complete shit, and there were a lot of boring moments. It was still good, though.

Kinda weak instrumentation.

That, and it needs the squelchy bass you can only get from a YM2612.

EDIT: Even better, they should remake the game's music using nowt but the YM2612.
