I'm signing this baby hippo up as a character

He flies, rides skateboards, and throws down crazy magical bullshit from his book of mad rhymes while working out his meaning in life as well as a bunch of character development changes nobody who isn't a bumbling hyper compulsive retard will give a *crag* about.

I decided to start using Deviantart agian.

Only few people in the world know that Korea is divided by a big concrete wall in the Parallel 38 that was built by the United States of America when the Korean War finished. This wall is hundreds of times bigger than the one that existed in Germany and is separating the Korean families, brothers, parents... the nation is divided because the U.S.A. is dominating the southern part and keeps an army of more than 40.000 soldiers to avoid the union of the Korean people.

Korea is an independent and sovereign state, but the South is still controlled by the

imperialist interests and the U.S. troops .If any South Korean citizen tries to visit North Korea crossing the big concrete wall, he'll be killed by the american soldiers. The 'Security Law' in South Korea forbides to any South Korean citizen to talk or read about the North or else he'll be punished with jail or even death penalty.

Since the end of the War, one of the main worries of the Great Leader KIM IL SUNG and the Dear Leader KIM JONG IL was the Unification of the Korean families. The Great Leader said:

'To unify the divided country in this moment is the supreme national task of all the Korean people, and we cannot wait just one moment to achieve it'

In 1980 he wrote the program for the constitution of the 'Democratic Confederation Republic of Koryo' where he exposed the basic points for the peaceful unification of the country respecting both capitalist and socialist systems.

The unification of Korea, the peace in the peninsula and the meeting of all the families is possible, but the U.S.A. isn't interested on it, and every year with the support of the South Korean Army they display big military maneuvers like the 'Ulji Focus Lens' or 'Team Spirit with the purpose of invading and dominate the North. Only when the american soldiers will leave South Korea and the citizens will recover they sovereignity, a big united Korean nation is possible.

Peace, Friendship and Independence are the hopes of the Korean people, and nobody will stop the burning desires and deep feelings of the separated families to be together.

I've come up with a concept for a game I would really, really, really like to make. I don't have any of the necessary skills to pull it off right now, but I'm willing to learn them.

This is basically my dream game. The perfect blend of everything I've come to love in games.

This game is built on three established genre pillars.

The first is character action. Bayonetta, Devil May Cry, God of War. Games in which you play a powerful, swift offensive juggernaut that can plow through anything but also fragile. They can be taken out with just a few hits, it's all about perfection of control.

The second is co-operative play, specifically of the asymetrical kind. I actually wrote an article about this for this not too long ago. Games like Left 4 Dead, really any game where the two opposing sides are purposefully differentiated. One side is zombies, extremely weak but fast and infinite. One side is survivors, much stronger but with limited resources and lives. Games that take a concept like that. Basically, any game where the objectives of each side are different as well as there capabilities.

The final genre is strategy. Games like StarCraft, something with a lot of micro managing. Really complex systems, the type of shit that only the most dedicated players can get into because there are just so many *crag*ing options.

Now combine those all together.

I'm talking about a four player cooperative character action game in which you fight a massive boss of epic proportions and strength.

Okay, nothing too new right?

But what if that boss was a player? What if an actual human player was controlling that thing? Sending out minions to halt your progress, queuing up attacks and targeting them in real time at human adversaries.

What if all the characters had customizable stats, classes, equipment? What if there was a character action game with not only cooperative multiplayer against a human being, but with an unlimited number of bosses?

It fixes the fundamental problem with all the games. In character action games you run out of content, but this has an unlimited number of giant monsters to slay. The problem of repetition with Left 4 Dead would be gone when the enemies you fight along the way are being picked by a human AI, a human Director. And best of all is the Strategy. It's something completely new. You aren't just leading an army against another. It's almost like tower defense, but still a completely different beast in its own right.

I dunno, I *crag*ing love this idea. I'd really love to make this. I'm trying to find out if something like this already exists, but I'm *crag*ing pumped just writing this down. It's *crag*ing complex and would take a shit load of work, but god damn if it doesn't sound *crag*ing amazing.

But yeah, thoughts?

Super-Claus
sounds kind of like a mix of Fallout and dungeons&dragons, if it was all played in a real time setup.
