It was at the end of the 3DS life I took my 3DS with me everyday and I got only 6 buddies. But im still glad I got to participate in streetpass, it was fun.

I just got back from a vacation in which I took my 3DS with me. I walked through 3 different airports both going to my destination and going back home, one of which being the 2nd largest airport in the world, and I only forgot to have my 3DS turned on once. Out of the 5/6 airports, I didn't get a single StreetPass hit. This was the first time I've been in an airport with my 3DS (since I've had it) in which I didn't get a StreetPass hit. RIP StreetPass. Yeah, I was surprised too when I found out that there were already 10 leaks. Apparently, the first one happened in 2018, and then the name "Gigaleak" was coined after the second leak in 2020, which was a few gigabytes in size. After that, the following leaks (with the 10th being the most recent) have just been grouped in as more Gigaleaks. Sounds cool! I just started playing OoT last week on Wii U VC. It's a little confusing, but I guess I just haven't played enough of it to get used to the controls.

I had a friend who had a 3DS, and we just changed our mii every time to fill up each others streetpass XD I also had one mii from a cousin, and two random people I must've passed during a bus ride on a school trip.

Let me reveal the results of my experiments: Likes on posts can be spoofed, the post date & time can be spoofed, but I just can seem to find a way to mess with the avatars yet. I can edit some Javascript to do it locally, of course, but this poses to be a greater challenge.

I remember streetpass. I got my 3DS like a year before the Switch was released and we were traveling, we stopped at a hotel that we go to when we visit Tennessee and I got over 70 streetpasses. Next year after the Switch released, none. Zero.
