But Dim, can't you see that Vid has invented a new kind of chart that nobody has seen before? You need to stop assuming that only things that meet YOUR specific criteria for a chart are charts.

but Boreale, you don't seem to grasp that the old and the new always connect in some way. This leads to a cultural, or in this case, chartural diffusion. This removes the need for complete acceptance of a new way of charting to be completely accepted, and that even the old can still be used on the new in some way.

But even though this new chart might not be as useful as the old charts, this chart can still be used in certain situations. Sure, other charts do the same job better, but this chart is still a chart
