Got an email today informing me that my ME3 pre-order has been canceled (though they are offering a refund on the deposit plus a £5 voucher) and that the ME3 Collector's Edition is limited to four websites. Looks like I'm gonna have to go sort out a new preorder on Amazon, assuming I have enough money in my bank account (my brother was planning on paying for the majority of it).

mass effect isn't amazing, or even above average
but it's average, it's fun, and it continues a story that some people might actually enjoy

oh, and i guess this is all in response to EA wanting even more profits for their game from a store that's already declining, so it's kinda nice to see them taking a solid stance on their policy, not budging

Well I happen to enjoy the game and will be buying it when it comes out. If you don't like the game that's fair enough and you're entitled to your opinion, but PLEASE can we not get into a huge argument over it like the one I had to deal with on Facebook yesterday. The guy never stops arguing and it really stressed me out.

Jesus, EVERYWHERE sold out preorders overnight. It was only by sheer luck that my dad was able to grab a copy from Sainsburys (I can't do much due to school blocks and a lack of money in my bank account, the latter being why I didn't preorder on Amazon yesterday when I had the chance). Only other source I am aware of is people selling copies on Ebay for £150 (most likely the reason preorders sold out).
