Here's Hanako Games' Queen Maker, which looks a lot like the Princess Maker games. In it, you guide a princess into queendom, balancing the various aspects of her personal and professional life, and try not to die horribly in the process. It's been out for a little while now—you can play a free demo and buy the full game for Windows, Mac and Linux. They're resurfaced as they're not pushing a Steam Greenlight campaign, trying to get the game to a wider audience.
