Huge congratulations to WesTalbott and all of the supporters of this LEGO® CUUSOO project. This is now the third project based on the Legend of Zelda to reach 10,000 supporters, so it's very clear to us that LEGO and Zelda fans worldwide really want to see this happen.
Even though we haven't been able to move forward with the past two Legend of Zelda proejcts, our team is happy to consider this project in the Winter 2013 LEGO Review period on its own merits.
What happens now?
This project moves from the Idea stage to the Review stage. A "LEGO Review Board" composed of designers, product managers, and other key team members will examine the idea. We'll build concept models and determine if the concept meets our high standards for what it takes to be a LEGO product, including playability, safety, and fit with the LEGO brand. Every LEGO product goes through a process like this and must meet the same standards.

Coming from a Gamekult interview with Shigeru Miyamoto...
Creating a game of the caliber of Super Mario 3D World takes a lot of energy and there is little chance that I could take the time to work on the next Mario. However, I want to get involved again and more deeply in the development of smaller projects, but that doesn’t mean it will be a modest download-only title or something like that. It is not impossible for me to work on a new game as the main producer in the future, but even when I’m not directly in charge of a project, I always look at what the teams does in terms of gameplay, and I trust them. Don’t worry about Mario!
Like we've said a million times before, there will come a day when Miyamoto leaves Nintendo. That's why Miyamoto has been grooming devs as the years role on. They'll have to take over for him one day!

Mordecai and Rigby in 8-Bit Land feels a lot like one of my favorite DSi platformers no one played -- Pro Jumper: Guilty Gear Tangent. It pretty much knows what it is, and even if it doesn't offer up anything new for those who normally loathe platform games, it'll still placate fans of the genre. So while it feels a bit phoned in at times, fans of old-school gaming will no doubt get an afternoon of enjoyment out of it.

Seems the service was experiencing the same issue of inappropriate messages being sent back and forth. Makes you wonder if the service is going to launch here at all.
