In an interview with Koichi Hayashida... “This is maybe a little bit of a strange story, but we never really went out of our way to decide on the sex of these characters, even though they have somewhat gendered appearances,” Hayashida said. “But I think what I can say is that Toadette and Toad are not siblings -- perhaps it would be more accurate to say they are adventure pals. And that’s certainly true here [in Captain Toad].”

Hayashida also clarified that Toads are not mushrooms.

Falling Skies: The Game seems to be coming to Wii U

Earlier, Little Orbit announced that a Falling Skies game would be coming to consoles. We now have a listing on Amazon for ''Falling Skies: The Game'', which is listed as a Wii U title. The press release from March seems to confirm that this will be a port of the Falling Skies Planetary Warfare mobile game.

Coming from a RedBull interview with Matt Karch, CEO of developers Big Deez Productions...

"I could say we are the guys to do it because no one else wants to, but the truth is that we have the ability to bring on the best talent possible to make it really good. We continue to bring on the best people that we can. Shaq is behind this and is willing to do whatever it takes to support it and make it happen. I don't want to be the guy telling Shaq that we failed."

Looks like Arc System Works is going to release yet another entry in their 'Escape Adventure' series. The company has released a banner that states 'coming soon', but we don't have any other details than that. I guess we'll have to keep a close eye on the situation.
