This is one of the better Game Boy games in the eShop and it's almost enough to make us wish that the Balloon Kid would be revived like Pit in Kid Icarus Uprising.

At $2.99, it's hard not to suggest Balloon Kid to fans of the franchise, but it could be a harder sell to other 3DS owners -- especially those who already received a free copy of Balloon Fight via Nintendo's early adopter Ambassador Program. If you're anything like me, though, you'll want even more totally sweet balloon-on-balloon action via Balloon Kid.

Who remembers the NES classic Balloon Fight? Probably lots of you, seeing as how it was just re-released for the 3DS two months ago as part of Nintendo's Ambassador Program. But, OK, who remembers its Game Boy sequel Balloon Kid then? Probably not nearly as many. And that's a shame, since Balloon Kid is a solid little adventure game. Thankfully, it too is back courtesy of the 3DS starting today...
