Northants, England. – 2nd February, 2012 – OG International Ltd, a video game publishing company, Papaya Studios a California based developer and Cartoon Network Enterprises (CNE), the licensing and merchandising arm of the network, today announced the April 2012 release for PAL territories of Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion XL for PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft® and the Wii™ system from Nintendo.

This fast-paced console fighting game features iconic locations and an all-star cast of fan-favourites recruited from Cartoon Network’s most popular television series including: Ben 10, Samurai Jack, Johnny Bravo, The Powerpuff Girls, Dexter’s Laboratory and more.

The all-new brawler video game, with 26 playable characters, gives players the power to duke it out with their friends for cartoon supremacy. Somebody at Papaya Studio had an amazing idea. Take the basic gameplay design of the Super Smash Bros series, use a roster of Cartoon Network's popular characters as fighters, put it on the PS3 and 360, giving Nintendo a big middle finger in the process. The planning stage was brilliant. Then somewhere along the way the developer forgot to make sure the game was good and just made Cartoon Network's Punch Time Explosion instead...
