Top Darts is a new PlayStation Move title coming soon to PSN, and it’s a realistic darts game that is perfect for all users – from those who love to play darts often and know a lot of the classic games, to those more like me who enjoy playing but don’t own a dartboard because the wall would look like Swiss cheese.

The developer, Devils Details, has been hard at work making this fun and challenging game to play along with your friends. They packed in classic dart games like 501, Around the Clock, and Cricket, as well as a large selection of other game modes. For those who want to play with friends, Top Darts allows up to eight people to play in a range of games that are suited just for the multiplayer gaming experience. If you’re on your own, work your way up the League and Cup modes to become a world-class darts player!

Top Darts doesn’t just cater to the traditional darts player; there are also simultaneous game modes. This allows two players to play at the same time offering a fun and fast paced gaming experience.

Speaking at the Credit Suisse Group Technology Conference yesterday, Microsoft Interactive Entertainment Division CEO Dennis Durkin dished on the state of Xbox Live, namely that half of the service's 25 million users are ponying up the dough for a Gold membership. They're making good use of it too, with an average of three hours logged daily. The last time we got a tally was in early 2009, when the service was at 56 percent, though its hard to analyze how that stat has changed without a firm number from Durkin.

We're sure it sounded good to the investors, but we're honestly a little surprised that fully half of the population still hasn't upgraded to Gold. That said, we really hope they're not counting the fake Silver accounts we made to download stuff from Japanese Xbox Live, as there's not much chance of "All4DaDemozJP" upgrading any time soon.

Journalist Raphael Rowe is involved with the upcoming BBC One documentary on game addiction. While many gamers are ready for the worst, Mr. Rowe says that we should hold that judgment for after the airing of the program. It sounds like it might not be so one-sided after all.

EA Sports associate producer Jeff Ecker is totally confident that EA Sports MMA 2 will become a reality at some point. Speaking with Figure Four, Ecker didn't even spend a second beating around the bush and directly stated, "There is definitely going to be an EA Sports MMA 2." Ecker even characterized the sequel's launch not as an "if" but a "when."

EA Sports MMA reportedly only moved 45K units in its first month at US retailers. EA Sports' Fight Night: Champion is already set for a 2011 launch, so you'll be able to beat up friends relentlessly via EA Sports, even if the company doesn't return to the octagonal mat quite so soon.
