Uh oh! Baby Luigi’s been kidnapped and only Yoshi can save the day! Grab Baby Mario and head out for a new escapade, where you’ll gobble up bad guys, toss egg missiles, solve puzzles, and uncover tons of secrets. Welcome to Yoshi’s New Island, available in shops and as a downloadable version from Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS.

In a bold move, Yoshi sets out to rescue Baby Luigi from Kamek’s mischievous clutches. There’s a whole new island to discover and a bunch of baddies to face, from Little Mousers to Piranha Plants, all of whom will try to knock Baby Mario off Yoshi’s back. It's up to you to keep the little 'un safe!

Yoshi turns the tables by swallowing enemies and spitting them out as egg ammo to knock out bad guys and uncover secrets! Create Mega Eggdozers from big baddies to smash through obstacles, and make sure you take time to seek out the stacks of collectables scattered round the island.

It doesn’t stop there: zip through a set of Whirly Gates, and Yoshi will transform into a helicopter, jackhammer, bobsleigh, and many more – which you can use motion controls to steer! As a reward for all the hard work, you can unlock two-player, co-operative minigames – connect with a friend through Local Play or Download Play and prove you’re the best Yoshi a Yoshi can be!

Also launching today is the Yoshi Special Edition Nintendo 3DS XL*: a gorgeous green and white system that features Yoshi with an egg on the front and a trail of eggs that continues onto the back! This unique system is also available in a Yoshi Special Edition Bundle from the Nintendo UK Online Store, which includes the Special Edition Yoshi Nintendo 3DS XL, a copy of Yoshi’s New Island and a Nintendo 3DS AC Adapter to boot.
