you guys should give this game a shot; not as good as the original classic, but still decent

I'm a big fan of the original. I guess it's the 16-bit orchestral score that got me hooked.

Tried the demo. He looks kinda derpy however.

Yeah, I wasn't digging the "early-Pixar" 3D model.

The 2D artwork featured throughout looks halfway decent; it bugs me how they couldn't have just gone with a hand-drawn 2D style like that instead, but oh well. It's a satisfying game either way.
