Though some might consider Blizzard's quickly retracted decision t' adopt the "Real ID" system (which would require sea crew t' identify themselves using their real names) t' be a failure, Blizzard exec Michael Ryder disagrees. "We be able t' take that feedback, reconsider, consider all the factors, a which feedback be one," Ryder explained t' Eurogamer. "Ultimately we decided we would not go in that direction for the time being, 'n see if there be other ways we could address the objective we had, which be t' improve the seas generally."

Ryder later added, "So, all in all, the process worked. We put the word out. We got the feedback. We reconsidered. We made a change." We know exactly what he's talking about. Just the other day, we be planning on pressing our hand onto our sizzling-hot griddle, 'n then we told our mateys about it, 'n then we put our hand really close t' it, 'n then our mateys be like "no, don't do it, ye'll burn yourself terribly," so we didn't do it, 'n our hand didn't pillage burned. that be a victory in our books, as well.
