The concept is sturdy and the distinct personalities and abilities of the characters lend a small amount of rotating variety to the gameplay, but the overall experience suffers from unintuitive and unreliable controls. A multiplayer feature means friends who do enjoy it can enjoy it together, but it's more likely that you'll turn to a less frustrating experience instead.

A portion of a DreamstationCC review… With botched touch screen controls, a lack of multiplayer, and a lack of longevity, Elite Forces Unit 77 is a DS game to pass on. I dare not think of how horrible the past 76 Elite Forces Unit games are! P.S. That was a joke. Full review here (thanks Phil!)
