Soul Shroud Sunday might be good. This would be much easier if Sage's Ring still existed

I hate having to post them in all the other topics so I just made one specifically for it.

The game that's highlighted was one of the hardest I played, in all honesty.

It was me, jax, and ashe versus olaf, garen, and twitch. It was going well, I got first blood and their turret was almost down. However ashe and jax ended up feeding a bit and Garen actually knew what he was doing and used a tank build. Olaf started to get really annoying, especially because they would all team up against me which was what ended up killing me a lot. The game started going in their favor, and they took down all our turrets and inhibs except for the nexus turret. We defended that thing with our lives, and out of desperation, I bought a blood thirster, which ended up helping. The next thing that helped was Twitch randomly leaving. We still had garen and olaf to worry about though. I then got Phage and a Rageblade(blah blah attack speed on morde) which helped even more, the attack speed+the attack damage was actually capable of taking down Garen, coupled with the fact that my health regenerated and the damage he caused to me went to him as well. and then that's when we started to push.

The pushing was easy. Olaf and Garen were too busy dealing with Ashe and Jax that their turrets were easy to take down on my own. Eventually they realized what was going on and started chasing me. Jax became useful and helped take down olaf, ashe was simply our distraction, as sad as it is to admit. Eventually we got them down to their nexus turret, which was no match for me and jax. Ashe somehow killed Garen somewhere really far, and jax and olaf killed themselves in a fight, so I ended up taking the nexus down by myself.

it was fun.

i already take ghost and ignite

Malz isn't so bad, you play Morde
Get a Banshee's or a Quicksilver Sash and make him cry
The one you REALLY have to watch out for is Trundle
darkz
Trundle is like a mini tank. The only problem I really have against him is the rock.

Blitz's Overdrive is now THE BEST MOVEMENT SPEED BUFF EVER

The rest of him still sucks though

Corki is still EXACTLY THE SAME, and is still pretty much UNGANKABLE

Idol of Durand no longer does more damage than Tibbers

Kog'Maw gets nerfed in ENTIRELY THE WRONG PLACE

Miss Fortune doesn't run as fast

Pantheon now resembles something close to viable

Sona is even less of MASH HEAD ON KEYBOARD, RECIEVE WIN

Twitch is less of an unstoppable rape machine

Veigar doesn't run out of mana

Ezreal doesn't get buffed AT ALL

AND THE BIG, META-GAME DISLODGING CHANGE

Skins

  • Reduced the size of the Monarch Kog'Maw skin by approximately 10%
darkz
they forgot to give morde more health
also gorki is easy to take out what are you talking about

is op as shit.

We had the game just about wrapped up. The only people we had to worry about was Trynd and Anivia.

That was at about 30 minutes, It turns out someone kept feeding trynd and he bought like 4 blood thirsters and some other things.

He could do 1k damage in one hit, it was *crag*ing terrible.

The match was dragged to about an hour long, In those 30 minutes I died a lot, and it wasn't just me, it was others. We all died so many goddamn times; We almost had their last turret down. ALMOST, but trynd ended up coming down every single time. That and heimer kept leaving turrets down, but we were all busy with trynd to take them down.

I wouldn't be bothered because he actually had little amount of HP, but his endless rages made him impossible to take down because he would get more and more hp from the blood thirsters.

Thus I have a new hatred of trynd.

©na
Why did Trynd buy Bloodthirsters when he could have bought an Infinity Edge?
Hmm, for Trynd.... Trynd counters, Trynd counters...
Wait a bit, Ignite him after he pops his ult. Give it a second or two. You could also try buying a Randuin's Omen for the slow, but Ignite works best. You, being Morde, have both your ult AND ignite, which are both excellent for killing him after he uses his ult
Ignite drops healing too, remember that.

Force of Nature and/or Banshee's Veil help with that
Abyssal Scepter is an AMAZING choice for dealing with casters, especially since you are Morde

An alleged Valve employee seeking to air grievances with his employer and one specific employee has taken to an anonymous blog titled "The Truth About IceFrog." In it, the person -- supposedly working on "an unrelated project" from "IceFrog" -- describes not just a poor working environment with the Defense of the Ancients co-developer (whose real name is said to be Abdul Ismail), but also details "something fishy" regarding his past.

Though "IceFrog" apparently told colleagues and Valve execs he never worked at S2 Games -- developers of Heroes of Newerth, a DotA clone -- a handful of online evidence suggests he did at one point (DotA co-developer Steve "Pendragon" Mescon even outright states as much). Furthermore, the anonymous blogger likens "IceFrog's" actions to being "the CEO of McDonald's (DOTA) looking for a job at Burger King (Riot Games), then working for Fatburger (S2 Games), then quitting and going to work for Wendy's (Valve) but outright lying to Wendy's (Valve) of involvement with ANY previous employer," adding "In the corporate world, this would be the equivalent of stealing trade secrets." As announced this morning, "IceFrog" is currently working on Dota 2 for Valve.

When we contacted S2 Games to confirm whether or not a man named Abdul Ismail or "IceFrog" ever worked there, we were repeatedly told "No comment." Valve representatives didn't mince words, saying only "It's fake," while League of Legends developer Riot Games offered "At no time did Abdul Ismail, or anyone known as 'IceFrog,' work at or for Riot Games in any capacity." Now if you don't mind us, we can't fight the sudden urge for a fast food burger. If you've got first-hand knowledge regarding any of the accusations, feel free to drop us a line.

GDC Online -- formerly known as GDC Austin, but still held in the Texas town -- welcomed 3,000 attendees interested in online and social gaming this year. The show will return to Austin, Texas on October 11-14, 2011, at which time it'll be known as "GDC Zynga" -- kidding, maybe.

Highlights of the convention included the inaugural Game Developers Choice Online Awards, along with some revealing revenue details from MMO developer Turbine and the 3DS's ability to use the Unreal Engine. Check out more from GDC online by following this: handy-dandy GDC Online link.

Last night in Austin, Texas, the creators of some of this year's biggest and boldest online games were honored during the Game Developer's Choice Online awards ceremony. In particular, Riot Games and its heavyweight debut title, League of Legends, took home half of the awards up for grabs, including Best Online Technology, the Audience Award and Best New Online Game. It also took home "Best Game With a Title That Reads 'LOL' as an Acronym," but that's not ... a real thing. That's a thing we made up, just now.

Check out the real list of real winners after the jump.

Riot Games' League of Legends has been winning accolades and fans since it released last year for a few different reasons. It's a highly polished version of Defense of the Ancients, the company has supported the game with continuous updates and new content, and oh yeah -- it's a free-to-play title.

Lately, Riot has been working on a major update they're calling "Season One," designed to make the game a little more compatible with competitive play, as well as implement some of the most requested features for the game. The update should be out within a few weeks, they told us, but on the floor of E3, we got to see some of the new tweaks in action.
