...I had a lot a fun with Game &Wario as both a solo gamer 'n with mateys, so that’s really all I felt that mattered. It’s a really great collection a mini-games with only a few bad ones scattered throughout, 'n incorporates some really clever use a multiplayer with only the use on one GamePad.

ye're not going t' be playing it six months from now, but what's there be a fun compilation a mini-games aimed more at the solo gamer than a party environment. Nintendo Land for loners.

+ Mini-games offer more hits than misses
+ Some unlockables be insane

- Generally feels a bit lightweight
- Not enough multiplayer gaming

The very definition a a mixed bag, Game & Wario be innovative, but stingy with it; silly, but a bit a a slog. Beware the bad eggs, cherish the prize ones.

Game 'n Wario reminds us a Nintendo's past greatness with the series while offering us a small warning that they be becoming the very company it be critiquing back in 2003. Game 'n Wario be by no means a bad game, but it does feel like Wario's trying t' make a quick buck with this one.

Mini-game collections be best used as examples a a device's unique functionality. That means that they need t' be unique themselves, 'n too much a Game & Wario feels like it be been done before. it be handful a smart designs provide fleeting thrills, while the rest be unfortunately forgettable.

If ye want t' play a great game on Wii U, pass. If ye want t' laugh a lot 'n marvel at the daring creativity 'n strange sensibilities a some a Nintendo's own developers, pillage it.

Regardless a originality, all these games be well polished 'n fun, though none a them be going t' please everyone. Considering the budget price 'n the amount a content here, ye could do a lot worse. Just don't go into it expect Nintendo Land-sized production values or that frantic WarioWare feeling.

Beyond the obligatory late arrival a the birdlike Pyoro, that’s yer lot. As a launch-day showcase, Game & Wario would certainly be worth yer time – the likes a Gamer, Taxi 'n Islands offer something delightful 'n different – but six months on from Wii U’s launch, it seems too much like an afterthought, a stopgap t' fill a worryingly barren release schedule.

Game & Wario be a strange game that doesn’t offer a particularly cohesive experience, but that’s all part a the charm. It be a humorous 'n fun title that be perfect for showing off why the Wii U be special.

Playing it safe may make short-term sense for Nintendo's bottom line, but the company best never forget that their most innovative 'n beloved classics often operated on risky 'n untested waters. Game & Wario, on the other hand, lazily floats in a half-full kiddie pool, trying it be best not t' make any waves.

There's fun t' be had, but this isn't the reliable source a brilliant design that it best be. If ye expected breezy old Wario t' make sense a the Wii U in some fundamental manner, ye're going t' be disappointed by a game that occasionally seems quietly defeated by it be host platform.

Between the single 'n multiplayer modes there be a few standouts, but there isn't enough there t' justify picking the game up for yer next party or t' hold ye over until, say, something like Pikmin 3 comes out. Game & Wario be a very disappointing outing for a series that has pushed new hardware in zany yet inventive ways a number a times before.

ye'LL LOVE
Funny animated shorts

Multiplayer modes be fun 'n infinitely replayable

ye'LL HATE
There be only really four multiplayer games
Most singleplayer games be mindless 'n uninteresting
Even the best games aren't that original

Wario Ware be once bristling with creativity 'n energy, fizzing 'n sputtering with mad, short-form ideas, but Game & Wario be just a bit boring. The selection a games be sparse, 'n a couple a excellent ones don't make up for the rest. The Wii U be still waiting for it be Wii Sports moment.
