With the new Overdose speed buff, the Medic is able to close into melee range with every class except Scout in a matter of seconds, hell it even discourages you from distance combat with the damage penalty. And it came with the Quick-Fix, a fast charge up rate and a healing effect that doesn't reward sticking on patients? It's so obvious. And let's not forget the Solemn Vow, a straight Bonesaw buff that allows you to judge your prey from a distance before swooping in for the kill.

If this isn't a melee class I don't know what is.

Why doesn't Valve just make an actual melee class character instead of making items that change the way the original classes were intended to be played?
