This shows some promise.
It's a sort of Minecraft/Terraria/Fort Wars game, but they appear to be pushing the boudaries somewhat. Little rough around the edges from the looks of the video, but nothing particularly hard to fix. I'm gonna download their current release and see how...

I don't think that the physics-based movement needs removing, rather it just needs some improvement - this is still a very early build of the game, they have plenty of time to get all the problems worked out.
