I am deeply, deeply in love with Persona 3 FES and Persona 4, as well as both Kingdom Hearts titles. So much that emulation doesn't cut it.

I know that the PS3 supports PS2 games, but it's loving expensive - so I ask, is it still worthwhile to get a PS2? Amazon.co.uk has people selling a good as new PS2 slim for, like, 50 pounds. PS2 games are also still being sold far and wide, so I think it'll stay alive for some ore time. Besides, with such a huge library (10+ years of games) there'll be loads of now-cheap but awesome games I can buy.

So, is it still worth it to get a PS2?

I do believe that it is worth it to "pillage" a PS2

@Vid Inferno >Implying my predicted disposable income is over 50 pounds/month

@ Mundo - Good idea. I also always wanted to check out Kingdom Hearts I and II

But, seeing as my Excel table in which I log my income and expenses says that I may lack ROMANCE, THRILLS and EMOTIONS, but most of all lack MONEY
...

I think I'll just get a better graphics card and then I might just emulate them. Depends on whether I can get that thing over here.

This is basically the most sweet webcomic of all time. I may be stating the obvious here, but I just love it.

Andrew Hussie does an incredible job, one-manning this sort of, for lack of a better word, mind*crag*, whilst updating frequently and having a life.

He is a master of Weird Puzzle Shit, Weird Plot Shit and Weird Time Shit. MSPA, especially the recent chapters of Homestuck, are basically the best headache you will ever have.

The artstyle, whilst simplistic, is quite sufficient. Hussie alternates between static images (which are, as the title "MS Paint Adventures" implies, drawn entirely in Photoshop), GIF animations and incredibly epic Flash animations.

MSPA also features a sweet soundtrack.

Go check it out now,

i'm still checking the site obsessively

Is there anyone besides me who plays it?

Basically it's a "Knives in the Dark" murder online RPG, only wapanese. You and others are stuck in a high school setting that ordered lots of pointy objects. One player, randomly determined, in the killer.

There's also Death Note Mode (one character spawns with a Death Note, another with the Shinigami Eyes. Hilarity Ensues.) and Nanaya Mode (KILL EVERYONE LOL).

Definitely worth checking out.

Considering the site architecture, wouldn't a more conservative interface better? The topics I see on the front page whenever I visit (Zelnor? Visit? Ha!) are probably all the new ones, but most of them are things I don't even want to see. I think the old layout of Announcements and then the list of forums or something was at least more intuitive. Here, navigation is somewhat clunky because there's a hueg flood of forums.

Also, I apologize for not posting here anymore, but for some reason I don't feel as much 'at home' at I did. Maybe it's the usual WAH WAH EVERYTHING IN THE PAST WAS BETTER, which I don't want to fall into, considering Francis probably had to ignore his hordes of hot babes for a while to code this (what sacrifice!), but... Just not my type. Way too hasty.

HEY YOU KIDS GET OFF MY LAWN.

So yeah.

You can still go straight to announcements (it's called Digibutter News now), and for gaming you can view ALL Gaming News or search for a specific game, but I get what you are saying.

By default you see every topic ordered by date across the entire site.  If there is stuff you don't ever want to see you can "Hide" that forum (or that user).  Navigation isn't really necessary unless you are looking for something specific.

Soon I will let you customize what you see on your "front page".   So that can be *everything* like it is now, only boards you care about, or just a basic list of forums like the good ole days.

But the problem we have today is the same one we had before:  In the old site everyone posted to Off-Topic.  Now everyone posts to their own board, which aggregated together into one view is basically the same as Off-Topic.

But anyways, thanks for the drive-by feedback, I would like to hear more suggestions.  (also I think the format is more suited for people who visit the site daily)

The new text editor pleases Zelnor. Therefore Zelnor is back.

Zelnor just found his ideal University, passed the theroretical driver's test and got 36 / 42 points of his most recent IB report. Zelner has also taken to talking in the 3rd person and has had the most epic birthday present idea everm which even gained praise on Krautchan.

TL;DR Zelnor is bak, bitches.

Well, I'm sorry to hear that, I will miss your witty walls of text. In fact, my next feature is to allow better "long form" posts. I wish you would give me more specifics on what you don't like. I am open to improvements, but phpbb is a step back into the stone ages.
p.s. The textbox with the character limit is the same as the "subject" in phpbb
