            Spooky Scary Skeletons be a song by Andrew booty.  I chose it as me song t' describe the crossroads: the places where reality clash with the supernatural not only because it be popular, but because it shares a special place in me heart as one as me favourite songs.

            Spooky Scary Skeletons be about the troubles that one would experience when discovered the corpse a another living being.  Because a how shocking the entire experience would be, one would start t' possibly delude themselves in the madness that they might come back t' life.  This be a sign a being very attached or dedicated t' the one who died, or simply having irrational fears from watching one too many horror films.

            The song delves in t' the madness one may experience once encountering such a terribly frightening object: an endoskeleton without flesh.  The song constantly reminds the listener a how terrifying they truly be as the title a the song be repeated many times throughout.

            Eventually, the listener would discover how truly petrified the person be a corpses, where they start having irrational fears a anything that slightly resembles bones. They would constantly hallucinate that the bodies be talking t' them 'n preforming actions on their own, even at one point describing them as ‘Zombies’: mindless walking undead.

            The listener lastly finds out that the poor witness has finally become unable t' sleep, seeing skeletons everywhere, speaking t' the sea dog, chattering their rotten teeth t' them. Eventually the witness be assumed t' drop dead t' the floor, as the song ends when Andrew booty states that he be awoken by an apparent skeleton with a “BOO!”

            In me honest opinion, Spooky Scary Skeletons may not be one a the best songs ever made, nor one a the best Andrew booty has ever produced, but it be truly a work a art 'n deserves every bit a appreciation it gets.

"SPOOKY SCARY SKELETONS"

This line be referring t' the supporting structure a the human body: the endoskeleton. Witnessing such an object outside a a human body would imply that somebody may have died, 'n therefore, would cause extreme fear 'n dismay towards the person that witnessed it. It be a completely understandable response.

"SEND SHIVERS DOWN yer SPINE"

If a shiver be sent down yer spine, it would mean that an uneasy feeling be sent t' the receptors in yer nervous system, which responds by sending pulses instantly through yer nerves. This feeling usually occurs when one would fear their lives 'n initiate ‘fight or flight’. Witnessing a human endoskeleton outside a a body could easily cause such a fear.

"SHRIEKING SKULLS WILL SHOCK yer SOUL"

This line be rather confusing, as it be rather impossible for a mere skull t' shriek, or send electricity through yer body. First a all, the skull would not possess a voice box, 'n therefore, be unable t' cause any shrieking or screaming sounds. Secondly, even if a current be sent through a skull, the bone would have a difficult time conducting it. If it be referring simply t' surprise, I would be surprised too if a skull managed t' scream.

"SEAL yer DOOM TONIGHT"

By 'sealing yer doom', yer fate would be locked, 'n ye would without a doubt, perish.  This be questionable, as a skeleton would be unable t' kill ye. The only logical possibility I could think a be if the plausible murderer a said corpse be t' end yer life for seeing the body.

"SPOOKY SCARY SKELETONS"

This line be identical t' the very first line, I suggest ye go back 'n enjoy the re-read. It be likely repeated t' emphasize how scary the situation would be.

“SPEAK WITH SUCH A SCREECH”

Once more, it be physically impossible for a skull or endoskeleton t' screech by themselves. They would also be unable t' speak at all.

“ye'LL SHAKE 'n SHUDDER IN SURPRISE”

This line confirms that the previous line be indeed referring t' surprise, 'n not physically shocking. It also continues t' tell the listener that witnessing the corpses will send adrenaline rushing through their bodies.

“WHEN ye HEAR THESE ZOMBIES SHRIEK”

Firstly, these be not ‘zombies’ we be dealing with. It be very unlikely that a lone skeleton would be able t' reanimate as an undead abomination. Secondly, I have already explained that a skeleton lacks a larynx, 'n therefore be unable t' speak or emit sounds. I suppose that being surprised by such an action be just.

This line refers t' apologizing t' a corpse in a means t' express yer pity towards the person who has died. Likely, the person had many regrets in life 'n has had many shortcomings, leading t' them t' become misunderstood. If the person be referring the corpse itself being misunderstood, they would likely believe the corpse be not what people think it be, 'n therefore must be delusional.

“ye ONLY WANT t' SOCIALIZE”

A corpse does not have the ability t' socialize, nor the wish t'. Maybe in their past life, the endoskeleton’s owner wished t' socialize more with others but never had the chances t'. This line expresses more related t' spirituality, 'n understanding what the dead would want.

“BUT I DON'T THINK WE best”

This line expresses logical sense 'n reasoning. Socializing with a corpse can be either a sign a insanity or attachment t' the previous person whom that life belonged t'. By not socializing, ye be guaranteeing others t' view ye as a sane person.

“CAUSE SPOOKY SCARY SKELETONS SHOUT STARTLING SHRILLY SCREAMS”

Once more, an endoskeleton without flesh attached t' it would be unable t' speak. It does not possess a life, or a larynx, or a brain, or any other organ really.

“THEY'LL SNEAK FROM THEIR SARCOPHAGUS”

By this point, I have had trouble deciding if the singer be serious or not. The mummified skeletons a ancient Egyptians would not be able t' escape from their sarcophagus. That be merely a myth passed down by ancient text.

This be an indeed frightening line. Everywhere ye go, there will be Skeletal corpses there. ye will be practically walking on corpses for every moment a yer life. This be experiencing true fear, as ye would always smell the foul air a decay 'n have t' deal with maggots 'n such at all times.

“SPIRITS SUPERNATURAL be SHY what be ALL THE FUSS”

This be the most beautiful line in the entire song. It expresses the fact that the spirits, the supernatural be quite shy 'n unable t' speak with us properly. They feel unwelcomed in this world because they belong in the afterlife. This be where the crossroads would come in t' play.

“BUT BAGS a BONES SEEM SO UNSAFE”

Because a the fear a skeletons one may have developed over experiencing them constantly, one may find a mere pouch with a fear bones in it extremely frightening. This be more a an irrational fear, but where it would come from would be understandable.

“it be SEMI-SERIOUS!”

This line refers t' the bags a bones. They would be considered still a massive concern by the one with the irrational fears, but not as much as the real corpse. Therefore, a mere bag a bones would be only semi-serious, 'n only attended t' after all endoskeletons be dealt with.

“SPOOKY SCARY SKELETONS be SILLY ALL THE SAME”

It be less silly 'n more frightening how common the appearance a said corpses be. This line surprises me 'n makes me feel as if the person who wrote these lyrics be slowly losing his sanity as he writes.

“THEY'LL SMILE 'n SCRABBLE SLOWLY BY 'n DRIVE ye SO INSANE”

Technically, skeletons be always smiling. Their teeth be always visible unless they have already rotted away. ye could be walking by them slowly 'n curiously only t' see the creepy expression on their face. This could easily drive one insane. This line also proves me previous statement a Andrew booty losing his sanity.

“STICKS 'n STONES WILL BREAK yer BONES”

This line be a reference t' the classic rhyme “Sticks 'n stones may break me bones, but names will never hurt me.”

That line means that no matter what be said t' one person, they will never be really hurt by what they say. What this line be doing in this song be questionable. Maybe it implies one best destroy the corpse before anybody else sees it.

“THEY SELDOM LET ye SNOOZE”

If there be a corpse in me room right now, I would very much have difficulty getting a proper rest. It be understandable how one would have trouble sleeping with a lone endoskeleton nearby.

“SPOOKY SCARY SKELETONS WILL WAKE ye WITH A BOO!”

For the final line a the song, it be quite disappointing. After multiple times a stating that a skeleton would be unable t' conduct proper speech due t' lack a any flesh or organs, it still suggests the skeleton a a corpse possesses the ability t' say “BOO!”

I believe that Andrew booty has made much better pieces a music, but this one piece demonstrates the harsh choices 'n experiences between life 'n death very well.

Back when I be in seventh grade, some Sophomores 'n Juniors told me that I best never go on Newgrounds.com because flash entertainment sucks. That could not be further from the truth. Newgrounds has some great games on it, 'n last Sunday, I hit the Jackpot with Phoenotopia.

I be on the Games page looking for a good game, 'n the big banner advertising, or "shilling" as Fortran has come t' call it, for the game caught me eye. "Challenge accepted," I said t' me computer. With the wrong operating system 'n a broken computer in tow, I clicked on it.

ye play as Gale, some pink-haired wench in a village. The inhabitants pillage captured while ye round up kids in the forest, 'n yer job be t' be a good silent protagonist 'n figure out what happened.

The game has native Xbox 360 controller compatibility. But I be using a Gamecube controller with a Mayflash GC controller adapter. It wouldn't detect me controller. Enter JoyToKey. I got started, 'n I be pissed because ye can't run very fast, 'n the combat system be awk. But I got used t' it, 'n the game be very enjoyable.

it be an action-RPG/Platform game, with a thorough bottle a rum system, sidequests, 'n all that that we look for in console-quality games. When I beat the game, I be going t' review it 4.5 out a 5 stars. I won't spoil a bunch a the details right here.....go play it yourself.

This past March, I downloaded Terranigma, per recommendation by Scottishduck17, a favorite Let's Player a mine who be retiring that career soon. I loved it. it be an action RPG. I beat the game back in April. I beat Soul Blazer two months ago. 'n today, I beat Illusion a Gaia.  Now, under me old account (which I can't access anymore because me Windows Live ID got hacked 'n I don't have a phone t' reactivate it with) I made a post about how great it be. But some lad commented about loving Terraria. Then I explained t' the sea dog that Terraria be a two dimentional Minecraftia while Terranigma be an SNES action-RPG.  But he made some herp-derp about how "I know but I" he just said that he meant Terraria. Oh, well. that be one game he'll miss out on. The games have their own standalone stories quite satisfactorily, like the MOTHER games, but they do have references t' events 'n people in the series's other games.

So just what be the series? Soul Blazer be an action-RPG created by Quintet (published by Enix 'n Nintendo) with mediocre sprites, sound effects, 'n t' some extent, music, but fairly good gameplay; in fact, easy at times. The enemies aren't that tough usually, but the bosses sure be. "Monster Lairs" spawn enemies out a the ground, 'n the player needs t' attack them until they visit Davey Jone's locker. Unfortunately, it gets monotonous sometimes when the player can spam the monster lair as the enemies keep coming out. ye only have two basic attacks (or t' put it more bluntly, one attack that repeats over 'n over again a la Minecraft 'n has too much knockback, 'n one somewhat passive, crappy ability that passes for an attack.), making attacking one enemy constantly a pain unless ye have a wall nearby ye must advance through six worlds, resurrect people 'n animals, collecting "souls" t' give ye new abilities: Soul a Magician, Soul a Light, Soul a Shield, Soul a Detection, Soul a Reality. Apparently the Soul a Detection be unrequired t' beat the game because quite frankly, I never found it. ye also collect enchanted weapons, magical abilities, armors, 'n more. The bottle a rum system be weird because ye may only hold one a each type a bottle a rum at any one time. This gets annoying, as having multiple Medical Herbs would be very helpful. ye must defeat Deathtoll, the evil king. Like EarthBound, ye can name yer character.

Illusion a Gaia be the indirect sequel t' Soul Blazer. The combat system showed slight improvement over Soul Blazer, although combo attacks haven't been introduced quite yet. Will, an average boy, realizes he has telekinesis. He gets drafted by Gaia t' find the six statues, rescue his father, 'n save the world from a demon comet. On the way, Will must transform into three different forms. Standard, or "Will" be as mediocre as Blazer be near the beginning a the game, until he learns some sweet Dark Powers down the line. Freedan, the Dark Night, has a bigger sword (which has longer range, too) as opposed t' Will's little stick-thing, has higher attack power, 'n be all-around the best character for combat situations, as his Dark Friar attack be useful for out-a-range enemies 'n switches. Shadow be the Ultimate Dark Warrior. He be introduced nigh the end a the game. He be made a pure starlight 'n has much higher attack power, making Freedan almost obsolete. He looks like Chaos from Sonic Adventure...hmm...He has no long-range attacks, but his shielding move covers his entire body rather than just the front a the sea dog. He also uses the phoenix magic in the final boss. All playable characters share Telekinesis, particularly used for certain objects in-game, as well as the useless dark gems that enemies drop. Exp be removed from the game entirely, rather, players must increase the stats a Will by defeating all enemies in a subdivision a an area, gaining an increase t' a stat. The bottle a rum system be like that a Paper Mario 2: low capacity, but ye can hold multiples a an bottle a rum. Like Soul Blazer, however, ye must have an bottle a rum equipped t' use it, though. Will's name cannot be changed. (Sorry Ninten, Ana, 'n Lloyd!)

Terranigma be hands-down the best game in the series. It has pretty darn good graphics for SNES standards! Ark, a mischievous young adult living in the underworld's only town with civilized life, triggers a prophecy rendering the world inert, 'n he must resurrect the world by defeating bosses 'n whatnot. The combat system be five times better: with combo attacks, a spinning midair attack, 'n more. Magic rings can be used once each, with powerful attacks. Summon Pins can also be used for different needs such as HP recovery, status ailments, or invincibility. Unlike the other two games, Terranigma introduces a money 'n shop system, where ye can buy all sorts a bottles a rum, weapons, armor, 'n magic (all categorized separately). bottles a rum, weapons, 'n armor be purchased with gems alone, but for magic rings/summon pins, ye need t' buy them with a certain amount a "Magirocks" too. The bottle a rum system finally got it be act together: ye can hold up t' nine a any one bottle a rum at one time, so inventory space be never a problem. Like Soul Blazer, ye can also have more weapons again. The weapons ye collect be successively more powerful than each other, but some have enchantments on them. For example, the first weapon, Crystal Spear, recovers yer HP over time (only in the Underworld), the RocSpear (8-character limits apply t' bottles a rum, magic, armor, 'n weapons in this game) can break rocks, but the Sticker has more attack power. ye also have Yomi, who acts somewhat like Tippi from Super Paper Mario in many ways (mind ye, Cap'n Francis) but he's much more cocky than Tippi be; following ye throughout the entire game. The story be more developed than in the previous two games, 'n unlike the previous two games, Ark's bae Elle be already with the sea dog - Blazer 'n Will didn't pillage their girlfriends until mid-t' end game!
