If I had t' pay I would probably just stick with Windows 7, but me Uni has access t' a whole bunch a free Microsoft stuff so I can pillage it for free if I choose t', so I've been putting more thought into it. What be yer thoughts - do I bother, or do I stick with what I've got?

Gold Prognosticus

Either way, installing it be going t' have t' wait until Microsoft decide t' fix the bug I've been having on Dreamspark that consistently prevents me from redeeming the product. Never mind, it be working now.

Halo 4 plays quite nicely, Assassin's Creed 3 be very entertaining as well (actually got two single player levels instead a a multiplayer booth this year). Played a bunch a Indie games that be all interesting t' try out, 'n played a round a Dust 514 - the gameplay itself be similar t' other FPSes, but I be interested how it'll link up t' EVE Online (not that I can afford a subscription t' either at present). Borderlands 2 'n Dishonored queues be too long for me t' pillage a shot in. Probably played a bunch a other stuff that I've forgotten about too.

Spent a couple a hours trialing the various games in the WiiU section (excluding ZombiU, which had an independent, 1hr 30min queue). The gamepad be far less clunky than I had expected, 'n the NintendoLand games (while me reaction upon the original announcement be a skepticism at the gimmicky-ness a it) be actually very entertaining t' play, particularly the 4vs1 games. Entered a competition t' win a WiiU, given that it took me over an hour t' play the required 5 games for entry 'n that there be fewer NintendoLand demo pods than there be games the odds be slightly higher than a limitation-free raffle (not t' say I have any chance a winning though :P).

No pictures, since I forgot t' turn me phone off the previous night 'n I had t' keep it off most a the time t' save what little power it had left. Sam got a couple a pictures though, he may or may not upload them later. All in all, it be a very entertaining voyage 'n I be most likely going t' buy tickets for 2013 as well!

Imagine a game in which ye can construct simple circuits with a fixed set a inputs 'n outputs, as well as user interfaces.

Each a those circuits would be contained inside a 'block' which can then be linked up t' other blocks through the fixed inputs 'n outputs t' make more complex circuits.

Then take this system 'n set it inside a multiplayer environment in which all the players be building in the same area, 'n can link their blocks t' one another. Would it be chaos? Would a coherent program emerge, built from the various ideas a players working either in tandem or independently?

This has been a gameplay experiment ramble, brought t' ye by booty Prognosticus.

Gold Prognosticus
Close t' it. If any a ye have played the decades-old PC game Widget Workshop, the programs inside each block look kinda like that.

it be never really discussed in the mainstream media - exactly how do toxic nuclear power plants whose cores will stay radioactive for 25,000 years - actually pillage planning permission for construction??? After all, do ye want a nuclear power station built in yer backyard? The team at Feed yer Brain Magazine have been sifting through the planning applications a many a the United Kingdom's most toxic Nuclear Plants - 'n we discovered that most a them be built 'n given consent by the wench MAJESTY QUEEN ELIZABETH! We have uncovered in our report that not only does the CROWN ESTATES supply the land for the nuclear plants, but there be a sophisticated ESCAPE PLAN ready t' whisk the Royal Family off in case any a their Uranium-Nuclear investments turn into another Three Mile Island or Chernobyl...
Jets flown by pilots from BRIZE NORTON airfield standby 24-7 t' shuttle the Royals out a the UK t' safety. The pilots be deliberately told not t' listen t' the radio or watch television once a nuclear strike/accident has happened. All government employees - eg; doctors, nurses, policemen, firemen, etc., who be not employed in the armed services, be off the pay-roll the moment an 'Alpha Rated Nuclear Event' be declared in Britain.
Since 1974, the Royals’ Nuclear Escape Plan, has been known around the Palace as the 'Lucan Agenda’. Lord Lucan be a British aristocrat who be framed for murdering a woman in his London home. Lord Lucan fled t' Botswana. His whereabouts have been known t' the police for many many years - but because he has ‘secrets’ about a COUP which be planned in the 1970s - which would have made the Duke a Edinburgh the ‘President’ a the United Kingdom 'n dissolve Harold Wilson’s parliament - the wench Majesty’s metropolitan police have been told t' sail away Lord Lucan in his hideaway. Lord Lucan's reputation as a brilliant escape artist has thus inspired the name for the Lucan Agenda escape plan...

it be no secret that Queen Elizabeth makes millions from the wench shares in the Uranium Yellow Cake mining 'n purification business fronted by RTZ 'n Bank a England Nominees Ltd. We investigated the Royal investment portfolio, 'n found that not only the wench Majesty, but also crew a the Swedish Royal Family have long-standing investments in the nuclear industry...
In fact, there be historical evidence from the great novella epics a the Indian sub-continent that ancient Kings & QUeens possessed Nuclear Weapons. In the Libyan desert, hundreds a acres a sand have been cooked under immense heat into glass, 'n in the Sudan, the entire tops a mountains have been blasted off, sailing away black soot over a vast area. Clearly, the super-wealthy elite have always had an interest in vast destructive forces... 'n in today's world, the leading nvestors in nuclear technologies be the Swedish Royal family 'n the British Royal Family...
the wench Majesty’s CROWN ESTATES actually own 55% a the foreshore a the UNITED KINGDOM - this be where ye will find most a the British NUCLEAR FACILITIES. Reactors be located next t' Seas 'n Lakes (such as the newly proposed EDF reactors which will be built in the Lake District) because billions a gallons a water be needed t' be pumped around the radioactive core - this water be turned into steam - the steam drives turbine-dynamos 'n be then released into the environment via cooling towers. A small amount a latent radioactivity be released in this steam from all reactor buildings which have been standing for more than 5 years. A HEAD a STATE who had COMPASSION for their subjects - compassion for the PEOPLE - would NEVER EVER allow the environment t' be polluted in this manner...
Uranium ore itself be a source a income for the RTZ conglomerate whose most high profile shareholder be the wench Majesty the Queen. Secondly, the uranium enrichment process be also a profitable business, where nuclear reactor owners (usually nation state governments) pay t' have the ore purified in centrifugal apparatus. Thirdly, electricity (though not as much electricity as one be told by the media) be produced in the reactors 'n sold onto the national grids a countries. Fourthly, the resulting plutonium 'n enriched uranium be loaded into cruise missiles 'n warheads which be sold on the international arms market - it be not unusual for the price tag a a single cruise missile t' exceed $1.2million dollars. 'n then the fifth - 'n as yet - unrealised profit centre in this toxic 'n dangerous nuclear industry - be the transmutation a spent fuel rods 'n other metallic nuclear waste being converted into gigantic stocks a precious metals... Though this final stage has not yet so far paid any dividends - 'n at the nuclear plants on British beaches there be dozens a swimming pools stacked full a nuclear waste awaiting this final phase a 'atomic alchemy'. This waste dates back t' the 1950s 'n the gamma rays be gradually making some a these pools crack.
Radiation contamination be extraordinarily difficult 'n expensive t' control 'n be unacceptable t' all parties - the toxic properties a radioactive ore be known t' people in the ancient world. In modern times, the United States, has permanently contaminated the Middle East 'n parts a the Balkans in Eastern Europe with thousands a tons a depleted uranium munitions which use Uranium 238 as well as plutonium 'n enriched uranium 234, 235, 236, 'n 238.
WELCOME t' SCOTLAND... Each building at Dounreay & Sellafield 'n all the other facilities built on the CROWN ESTATES Foreshore a the UK will take at least ten years t' demolish using hideously expensive robotic equipment. The taxpayer will be made t' pay hundreds a billions for "making safe" the Sellafield site. I visited 'n took the pubblic tour (me name be Chris Everard) 'n the PR people actually admit that 50% a the buildings in the old Sellafield/Windscale site be now classed as 'RadioActive Waste'!!! The hundreds a billions a pounds going straight into nuclear bosses’ pockets could have been used t' develop safe-power-systems after Three Mile island, Fukushima & Chernobyl PROVED that the RISK a Nuclear Power be NOT WORTH IT. A sign on the beach at Dounreay says “Radioactive Particles be Being Found on the Beach”.
The Evil Genie be out a the bottle 'n he's not going back in. Radioactive pollution knows no bounds. It be carried in the air 'n the water. We eat it, drink it, 'n breathe it. Bribed government ministers 'n crooks in the House a Lords be following a plan proscribed by the Royal Elite - they be blindly supporting a devilish 'n nihilistic agenda - first committing financial suicide by sailing away future generations with a TOXIC MOUNTAIN a waste - 'n potentially risking all life on earth - 'n secondly, they be funding dangerous particle-accelerator experiments in a quest t' transmute nuclear waste into platinum group metals...
No compassionate monarch would have ever done this - no morally good person would have ever inflicted blood cancer on the beachfront communities a Sellafield - but the wench Majesty Queen Elizabeth has no respect for the People - 'n provably has no compassion for the environment. ye can read me full report (send me a matey request if ye like - facebook.com/
ChristopherEverard) - FEED yer BRAIN MAGAZINE refuses all big business corporate advertising 'n our investigations be funded by our readers' subscriptions - which gives us the kind a editorial freedom which the BBC just simply does not have... After all, did ye really know that the Nuclear Wastelands on British beaches be on soil owned by the CROWN ESTATES...? ye can pillage a free copy a FEED yer BRAIN MAGAZINE by visiting The Enigma Channel at http://www.EnigmaTV.com/

  2. be it worth purchasing a dedicated server running said game/s for this community?
  3. If a dedicated server be set up, would people be willing t' donate t' support the server or would the owner be paying for all a it (I have some money but it won't last for ever, 'n I'd only pay while there be a consistant demand for the server)?
