Well sure, you can make great pictures in anything. It's just that if you did them in Photoshop they would generally be better.

IMO we should be able to toggle the *crag* sensors on and off, depending on if we are manly and are fine with it or prefer to keep it clean.

Nintendo is a very odd company. For example, let’s take some news that just turned up a second ago. The Big N has confirmed that, after years of waiting, Super Mario Kart is going to be available on the Virtual Console this coming Monday. On top of that, they’ve also confirmed Pilotwings [...]

Initial impressions... this game rocks. I think I'd take it over Modern Warfare 2. But then again, I've always been a big Battlefield fan.

His name is Jérémie Perin and he is part of a production studio called Premiere Heure. It seems to be simply a video production studio that gets clients under several different labels. I couldn't actually find anything else buy him so I have to assume he is new to the business.

I seriously can't believe the animating on that, especially in that art style. It *crag*ing blew me away. I really hope we get to see more of this guy in the future, because I'm almost certain this video by itself is going to catch fire on the internet.

Also, this is one of the topics where the NSFW seems justifiable. If it really does bother someone then Francis should either put in some kind of NSFW code or, you know, ban people that complain.

Lord Crump
The style reminded me of Paul Robertson, the guy responsible for such off-beat youtube classics as "Hyper Parsnip Bitches" and "Devil Eyes"

Twitter: No.

Facebook: Functional, interesting, but also usless as I have a computer five feet away. With a keyboard.

Last FM.: Cool concept, would use it if Pandora wasn't better and on my computer. Last FM on the computer is most likely better as well. Also you can't use it in game. So...just *crag*ing use the built in music player which you can use in game instead.

So yeah. Who the *crag* does Microsoft think they are targetting again? Oh yes, the college crowd. You know, young people who use the 360 as their main media hub.

Because we all know college students don't have laptops.

Gordon Bombay, a hotshot lawyer, is haunted by memories of his childhood, when, as the star player in his champion hockey team, he lost the winning goal in a shootout, thereby losing the game, and the approval of his coach. After being charged for drunk driving, the court orders him to coach a peewee hockey team, the worst in the league, Gordon is at first very reluctant. However, he eventually gains the respect of the kids and teaches them how to win, gaining a sponsor on the way and giving the team the name of The Ducks. In the finals, they face Gordon's old team, coached by Gordon's old coach, giving Gordon a chance to face old ghosts.

You're now chatting with a random stranger. Say hi!
Stranger: Hey
You: Hello
Stranger: How are you?
You: Meh alright
You: Just came back from discussing the practical applications of transhumanism
You: With a friend of mine
Stranger: Oh, how did that go?
You: We concluded that transhumanist developments will take place within the next 100 years, but the real problem is how to distribute them
Stranger: Well converting people to some sort of cyborg, would take a while if you think about it lol
You: Should we pull for a capitalist libertarian "do whatever you want to your body" approach or a Marxist "wait until socialist revolution" approach
You: See, converting people to cyborgs isn't the problem
You: it's who will be able to afford it
Stranger: Well, then not many things will happen with that. Based on how the economy is doing right now and the unemployment rate..... Things aren't relaly going to get started with that for a long time
Stranger: In my eyes..
Stranger: But when that day comes, wow
You: Well, technology and science isn't getting hit as hard as other sectors of the economy.
You: Our level of technology increases exponentially with each year.
Stranger: Maybe so, but all I am saying is that as long as this is going on, all of these people jobless
You: True, so it would be difficult for a libertarian transhumanist approach to prove practical. But then again...
You: By the time this technology is perfected, it would gradually decrease in costs.
You: To the point where middle class families can afford it.
Stranger: Okay, well... Care to tell me what this might do to the human population
Stranger: After they, afford it and what not
You: Oh, you're talking about overpopulation?
Stranger: No..
Stranger: I'm only talking about what it will do to people, when they.....
Stranger: Take the next step to transhumanism
You: Well, the brain is what makes the man. What gives us our personality, and all that good stuff.
You: If we were able to preserve our brain with technology so that it doesn't decay
You: There isn't much to fear in terms of existential crisis.
Stranger: Oh, well what are the benifets, just longer life?
You: Longer life, resistance to disease. Memory augmentation, increased physical abilities.
You: Basically, more efficiency than humans.
Stranger: That sounds good, although... That wont be in my life time
You: Depends; how old are you?
Stranger: Well.... I'm only 17..
Stranger: It appears you are much older
You: I'm 19, but I'm confident we will see it within the next 100 years.
Stranger: Due to the fact your choice of wording makes me feel stupid
Stranger: I guess I was wrong..
Stranger: Now I feel even more pathetic
You: No need to feel pathetic; optimism is key.
Stranger: I suppose you may be right
Stranger: Now I just believe you to be some super genius ha ha
You: No; I just like to talk about these things quite a bit.
You: Because our future is interesting; transhumanism, space exploration...
Stranger: Gaming!
You: Indeed.
Stranger: That is what I'm all about wasting my time and brain power on games
You: I was plenty of my time and brain power on games, as well; but then again, I don't view games as mere "toys."
You: I actually consider them to be a form of art.
Stranger: Well, it matters what you play I guess, which is?
You: All genres. Platformers, JRPGs, WRPGs, Action-Adventures, Shooters...
Stranger: Well taht's good
You: Of course.
Stranger: Always have time for gaming
You: Entertainment is necessary for a healthy mind.
Your conversational partner has disconnected.

It's the day after Thanksgiving when everyone decides to go shopping, starting with waiting outside at 4AM so you can pay the same price you would get if you just shopped online. Traffic is horrible, you have to park miles away from the mall, and wait in ungodly long lines to checkout. I recommend you stay locked in your home until Christmas day.

Though yesterday's Sony investor's conference featured a concerning reference to the PSN's "new revenue stream from subscription," another slide from the presentation seems to indicate that the platform is already making money hand over fist. According to the slide (seen above), the company has set a lofty goal for the current fiscal year: It expects the PSN to bring in ¥50 billion (roughly $561 million) in revenue by the end of FY 2009. That's three times the amount of cash collected by the platform in the last fiscal year. Exactly how Sony plans to boost its revenues so drastically is outlined by other statistics on the slide. According to the company's calculations, the PSN currently has 33 million registered users, 1.4 million of which visit the PlayStation Store on a daily basis. We fall into the latter group -- but only because we can't stop window shopping for celebrities we can fling into oncoming traffic. We confess: It's one of our dirtiest, guiltiest pleasures.
