Throughout the weekend, Steam is offering two special packages that include all games in the Freedom Force and X-COM franchises for the insanely low price of $2 for each bundle. That's right, kids! For a two-spot you could pick up a bundle with Freedom Force and Freedom Force vs. The Third Reich or an X-COM collection which includes Apocalypse, Enforcer, Interceptor, Terror from the Deep, and UFO Defense. That's a lot of game for some pocket change, so get on it. Shortcut - Freedom Force Steam bundle Shortcut - X-COM: Complete Steam bundle

We're not big fans of teaser pages, but we do wish there were a few more like the one hinting at more Sam & Max in 2010. The site has now evolved beyond rambling about "a power-mad space gorilla" to ... well, there's still some rambling, but there's also a real deal: The whole first season of Telltale's Sam & Max for just $4.99. If you haven't touched the series or just like buying things really, really cheap, now would be the time to act. Here's to hoping future teasers follow Telltale's lead and lump some utility in with the titillation. [Thanks, Dao Jones]

Someone should use NC's Judge Dredd: The Musical as an entry to this fad.

I had to use a legitimate Korean social security number that was over 18 and younger than 20 that wasn't already taken and find a Korean proxy server that wasn't banned.

Yoshi-concept.png

Shigeru Miyamoto stated that Nintendo had wanted Mario to have a dinosaur companion ever since Super Mario Bros.; however, it was not possible because of the limitations of the NES. During the development of Super Mario Bros. 3, Miyamoto had a number of sketches around his desk, including an image of Mario riding atop a dinosaur. Takashi Tezuka, a Mario series developer, speculated that Miyamoto's love of horse riding as well as country and western influenced Yoshi's creation. The concept of Mario riding a dinosaur also came from the NES video game Excitebike, which featured people ridingmotorcycles. He again wanted to feature Yoshi in Super Mario Bros. 3, but was still unable to. Tezuka designed two power-ups to make up for this limitation, the raccoon and frog power-ups. Once the more powerful Super NES was released, Miyamoto was finally able to implement Yoshi into the series, putting him into the video game Super Mario World.[6] Yoshi proved to be popular in his debut, which caused the next game in the series, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island to focus on his species.[7]

The version of Yoshi seen in the Super Mario Bros. film was made using a three foot tall animatronic dinosaur. He was designed in the film by Dave Nelson. It had nearly 200 feet of cable and hundreds of moving parts inside of it, and was controlled by nine puppeteers. The body is cable-controlled, while the head is radio-controlled. Nelson described the overall process as being "difficult."[8] The creation of Yoshi was handled by company independent from the filmmakers.[9]

If you like Risk, Axis&Allies, Diplomacy, etc... you will like Battle Forces.  It's a multiplayer turn-based strategy flash game where you try to take over the world.  Currently it's totally free, even the Premium accounts.

Reply if you are interested and I'll setup a digibutter game.

Popple has a point. The exaggerated leg swinging made it clear that the Scout was double-jumping.

Do you love dinosaurs? How about the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park, do you love them too? How about writing stories about Jurassic Park dinosaurs being 'loved' in many unique and interesting ways?

If you answered "Yes" to all of the above, or even just to the last question, then this is the group for you! Here at the IJPEFFWA we fully encourage our members to explore the unplumbed depths of poorly written stories about dinosaurs having sex with each other, as well as with everything else.

Want to know whether a dilophosaur *always* spits, or whether car tyres are the *only* rubber a tyrannosaur can tear apart? Simply search through our "compy"-hensive list of text based erotica and you're sure to find enough material to make yourself "saur", and if you still can't find what you're looking for why not write it yourself and put it up here for everyone else to read? All submissions welcome!
