Sony isn't planning on letting the PS3 turn into another PSP. While Sony releases the occassional firmware update for their handheld, it's clear that little can be done to stop the piracy rampant on the platform. Perhaps the PS3 is destined for a different fate, with the help of a bulked up legal team. According to IGN, Sony is currently looking to hire a "Senior Corporate Counsel" and a "Senior Paralegal for Anti-Piracy and Brand Protection." (That should look intimidating on a business card!)

The hires will be responsible for "overseeing anti-piracy civil lawsuits and providing support to law enforcement and intellectual property agencies on behalf of SCEA." Sony has already filed lawsuits against a number of people responsible for the creation and distribution of the PS3 jailbreak. This listing suggests that the company may be looking to cast an even wider net.

"Consumers must immediately cease use and remove all circumvention devices and delete all unauthorized or pirated software from their PlayStation 3 systems," the company warned in an earlier statement.

Finally, a Wii and PS3 game that encourages absolutely reprehensible behavior. If you've been looking for a way to make your parties way more uncomfortable and insulting, Ubisoft has just the product for you. We Dare is a collection of "dare" minigames, including (based on the trailer after the break) spanking, "kissing" the controller, and, um, more. Like, apparently, being driven to spontaneous passion behind the couch while two dudes watch, apparently.

It's worth noting that the game is primarily shown in the trailer to make women at a party "perform" in a way they don't want to -- and that's the trailer. That's the "ideal" situation presented. In real life, thankfully, it's more likely people would just leave when you broke out the "naughty" minigame collection.

As far as we can tell, We Dare is a European exclusive, so American partygoers are safe for the time being.

So I need a new show for the stream.

Here a topic for discussing that.

I like to keep some kind of, you know, logic to the schedule so keep in mind what we are dealing with here.

This is the last time slot of the night before I just completely take over and do whatever the *crag* I want, and as a result it is usually the last show most people watch.

It needs to be great, it needs to be a big *crag*ing deal. Or not.

Here are your options:

1. New animu for the time slot.

2. Move the time slot back and show something else, pushing Ghost in the Shell into the final slot.

3. Completely delete the time slot and merge it into my Diginet Undercast where you have no opinions and I will do whatever the *crag* I want with it.

Personally I want something that lives up to what NGE was going to be for this slot. Either something classic like FLCL and NGE or something serious like Ghost in the Shell or .hack//SIGN or some shit.

My preferred outcome would be for this time slot to remain devoted to its original intention, but if there is no way to make that work and make at least a majority of my viewers happy then I'm willing to say *crag* it and do whatever.

Personally, I'm thinking Paranoia Agent because we never finished it, but that isn't going to last forever. Really, this is an open forum for discussing new potential shows for when we run out as much as it is for the new show we need right now.

So go. Discuss.

As a "hey I'm back" peace offering, I give digibutter.nerr the best Minecraft server ever http://atleast11mines.proboards.com/ (That's the forum URL, not the server IP, IP's on the forum). This server is 24/7 with hardly any lag whatsoever, pirate friendly, and pretty lonely usually. It got a fresh new map for the current update so it's near abandoned right now. oh, also, working Nether Portals. Also the admins are bros. I'm an admin there myself, basically second-in-command. So, you know, have fun with this. I try to whore it out on /v/ all the time but that usually ends up fruitless. But yeah, this server IS nice and has a lot of awesome mods (or at least WILL once all the mods are updated).

Let's make Fort Francis and put up a big sign on the front that says "No girls allowed"
