#gdc10 PC gaming service OnLive, officially unveiled at last year's Game Developers Conference, was finally dated and priced at this year's show. The on demand streaming game arrives June 17th in the United States, priced at $14.95 USD per month. More »

So basically you are paying $15 a month to rent a gaming machine. Unless the streaming games are cheaper than retail, that is too much $$$.

We just got our hands on the Windows Phone 7 during an interview at GDC, and given our unnatural obsession with bolstering our online notoriety, the most prevalent question in our mind was: just how many Gamerscore points can we crank outta this thing? The answer: A beefy 200 Gamerscore points per game, which will be added to your total Gamerscore, as displayed on your Xbox Live Gamertag profile.

We'll be writing up our impressions of the platform, as well as our interview with its creators, later today. For now, rest assured knowing that when you unlock an Achievement in a Windows Phone 7 game, it totally makes that satisfying "bloop-bloop" noise.
Francis
I wonder how many will buy a Windows Phone just to increase their e-penis gamerscore.

If there was an iPod Touch equivalent I might get one, only because I'm a fag and don't have an iPhone yet.

You know, we always thought GLaDOS ran the Portal simulation just so she could discover the true value of friendship, but it may really have been in the name of public service. In the video after the break -- created by Freddie Wong, who you probably recognize from his ridiculous (and hilarious) Guitar Hero video -- we get a glimpse at the likely ramifications of improper Portal gun training and how a few apathetic "friends" can ruin one of the most exciting experiences ever. And here, all this time, we thought GLaDOS was the bad guy!

Note: For those of you who spot that weird frame at the end of the video -- yep, with all that gibberish -- don't bother to decipher it. It's apparently just another gag from Freddie and "friends." Yuk-yuk-yuk.

I had a lookisie to see if they changed the game any and, well, they did. mostly just new dungeons, new weapons, longer story, less bugs, new enimies, that sort of thing. Oh and also the sloopy guild lol

Picked it up again about 4 months ago. My woman kept getting annoyed whenever we played though since it's easy to die during bosses and she quit. Haven't really touched it since then.

My gaming community held a Scribblenauts tournament.

We all chose one person/animal/thing and one weapon/object for it to hold, and put it in a secret ballot.

"New information has been released from Nexon about MapleStory DS.

In 2009 I reported that MapleStory DS would be released in January 2010, but now their decision is final.

The game is scheduled to launch in Korea on April 15, 2010.

MapleStory DS is a DS adaption of the popular online game MapleStory.
The game is developed by Nexon in cooperation with Nintendo.

This handheld version will feature the four original jobs: a Warrior, Thief, Archer and Magician.
Each character will have their own storyline.

MapleStory DS is not an online game, but it sort of connects with it, by including codes for exclusive virtual items.

The estimated price for MapleStory DS will be around $35.
A special edition bundle  with a Nintendo DSi  & MapleStory DS will be available for around $205.

There is currently no release date known for America or Europe."

Why would you play a MapleStory that isn't online.

From what we've seen of Portal 2 thus far, it seems like Portal 1 was really just a test ground to see if the portal gameplay appealed to consumers and stuck. Now Valve is having fun with it and seeing how far they can go. I couldn't be more excited.

Whether it turns out to be amazing or a complete piece of shit, meet us in the Cbox as we watch the whole god  damn thing. Something else interesting is bound to happen, as it often does, even if the show turns out to be a blow out. So, come and chill out with your Digibutter peeps for awhile and see what all the fuss is about. Maybe you'll even join us next Saturday as we resume our regular weekly anime night.

MattTheSpratt

And I'll miss the entire god damn thing, ;~;

EDIT: Unless someone manages to stream it.

Popple
If I can find a decent rip of it after it shows tonight I am totally going to stream it over Bleach on saturday.

You're all fanboys/fangirls of something. Usually, you're not just fans of a single franchise, either; if you're not an extreme, obsessive-compulsive maniac, you're probably a fan of multiple different fictional universes. And if you're like me, you've probably wondered what it would be like if elements of your favorite fictional universes were taken and crammed in to a single awesome game.

For example, my ultimate fangasm fantasy crossover videogame would be a Final Fantasy/Mass Effect/DC Universe crossover game. Your starting playable characters would be Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, the Flash, and Wonder Woman. The plot would go something like this: the Justice League recieves a distress call from the Guardians of the Universe, so they set off in to space to find out what's wrong. Along the way, they confront Garrus Vakarian and Urdnot Wrex from Mass Effect, who are tracking down the missing Commander Shepard.

HOWEVER, the plot thickens. Garrus and Wrex believe that the threat that the Guardians of the Universe are warning about is actually the REAPERS, but in truth, it isn't.

IT'S THE FOUR FIENDS OF CHAOS.

But they aren't the traditional four fiends of chaos, no. They're Kefka, Sephiroth, Golbez and SEYMOUR GUADO. During the climax of the game, the four fiends summon the great demon Chaos who then teams up with Lex Luthor and Darkseid to pose a threat of cosmic proportions, and it's up to the Justice League--now composed of Final Fantasy and Mass Effect characters in addition to the original DC Universe superheroes--to stop this threat once and for all.

So, in summary, it is the greatest idea for a videogame ever and would be totally awesome.

Share your crazy ideas for an ultimate fangasm game that addresses all of your geeky interests here.
