Tekken Revolution was revealed earlier today by a trailer tucked away 19 minutes inside of a video segment on Gamespot. The game, which is both free-to-play and a PlayStation 3 exclusive, will be available this Tuesday, June 11. Aside from the fact that Paul, Bryan, Kazuya and Lars are all featured in the footage shown, little else is known.

Tekken ringleader Katsuhiro Harada previously dismissed an Australian Classifications Board listing for the title as being in reference to a new version of Tekken Card Tournament. That, coupled with the fact that no user interface is shown in the Revolution footage, is enough to keep us from assuming that this is a fighting game - it could just as easily be a high-def, ultra-pretty version of Namco Bandai's existing, mobile free-to-play competitive card game set in the Tekken universe.

With E3 breathing down our necks, we expect to learn more soon.

How does a life leisure sound to you? Spending the rest of your days floating through the outer rim of your favorite nebula, sipping on some *crag*ing tropical martini bull shit and jacking off to your favorite Corpus pornographies.

Well I'm here to tell you your dreams are about to come true.

You see we have started a Warframe clan, and by being a clan we have the ability to research anything your heart desires. However to accomplish these we require two key resources we currently lack: PEOPLE and MONEY.

That is where you come in, you will be the ones to provide us with PEOPLE and MONEY so that we can all share the mutual rewards of flamethrowers and acid powered rocket launchers.

So now I know what you're thinking, "Wow Popple! That sure sounds like a great deal, but how can I help?"

Well I'll tell you exactly how you can help.

Step 1. DOWNLOAD THE MOTHER *CRAG*ING WARFRAME

Step 2. MAKE AN ACCOUNT AND PLAY THE GAME

Step 3. GO TO CONTACTS, CLICK THE MAGIC CIRCLE, TYPE IN DIGINET ARMY AND THEN HIT JOIN

Congratulations you are now part of our glorious horde of cybernetic murder machines.

All Digibutter members guarnteed General rank in the clan because I dont give a shit as long as you don't *crag* shit up.

Earlier today, Masahiro Sakurai sent out a tweet saying that new video from the upcoming installment of the Nintendo all-star fighting franchise will be debuting on June 11. お知らせしておきます。6月11日23時配信のNintendo Directで、新作『スマブラ』の映像が初披露となります。世界同時、ここが初! お見逃しなく。 — 桜井 政博 (@Sora_Sakurai) June 6, 2013 Translation by Kotaku East’s Toshi Nakamura: "Notice: On the June 11th 11PM Nintendo Direct, the first footage of the new Smash Bros will be aired for the first time. For the first time, simultaneously worldwide! Don't miss it." That 11 p.m. is probably for Japanese local time zones. Also, it’s worth nothing that Nintendo had already said months ago that the company wouldn’t be saying anything about the next Smash Bros. game until E3. Well, that time’s almost upon us. What do you want to see in the new game?

Ness, Captain Falcon, Snake, Link and a lot of familiar gameplay elements come to life in this awesome live action Smash Bros. flick. The video has been in the works for more than a year, and it's quite impressive to see how many people helped video creator pwnisher complete it. Snake with his giant hammer engaging Link is just too funny and makes me want to get my hands on Smash Bros. 4 immediately. Shortly after opening their Steam Greenlight campaign for the game Paranautical Activity, the two-man studio Code Avarice got a phone call that would have made any indie's day: It was Adult Swim, offering to publish their game on Steam. Yeah, well, not so fast. As Code Avarice's Mike Maulbeck and Travis Pfenning explain in that video above, when Adult Swim—taking a chance on a PC title after dealing mostly with flash and mobile games—went to pitch Paranautical Activity to Steam, they were told no dice. "[Steam's] response was basically, 'We don't want to send the message that indies should seek out publishers to get around Greenlight,'" the duo recalled. Valve, through spokesman Doug Lombardi, confirmed the gist of the statement to PCGamesN. "Our message to indies regarding publishers is do it for your own reasons, but do not split your royalties with a publisher expecting an automatic ‘Yes’ on Greenlight.'" Maulbeck and Pfenning are not happy. "We've got a Greenlight campaign that we haven't even touched in months, and now we have to resurrect it from the ashes," they said. They asked Adult Swim if it would work to promote their Greenlight campaign to get the game on Steam and the response was, more or less, no, because Adult Swim doesn't want to get sideways with Steam/Valve. "We haven't officially decided if we want to go with them," the said. "The fact we have to get on Steam with our own two feet," after getting this kind of an offer from a publisher, "is really a kind of bummer." Valve to indies seeking publisher deals to bypass Greenlight: "do not split your royalties with a publisher expecting an automatic ‘Yes’." [PCGamesN]

Andrew Scott Reisse, an accomplished developer at Oculus VR, the company behind the virtual-reality Oculus Rift headset, was killed in Santa Ana, California on Thursday. He was an innocent victim of a police chase gone horribly wrong. Reisse was apparently out for a walk when an alleged gang member, fleeing the police in a Dodge Charger, allegedly barreled into the intersection of Flower Street and MacArthur Boulevard, hitting and killing the 33-year-old developer. The driver may face murder charges, according to ABC News. Oculus CEO Brenden Iribe and chief software architect Michael Antonov issued the following statement to Kotaku about Reisse on behalf of all of their company : Andrew was a brilliant computer graphics engineer, an avid photographer and hiker who loved nature, a true loyal friend, and a founding member of our close-knit Oculus family. Some of us have known Andrew since college, and have worked with him at multiple companies beginning with Scaleform in Maryland which he helped start at age 19, then at Gaikai in Aliso Viejo which brought him out to California, and finally at Oculus where he was a co-founder and lead engineer. Andrew's contributions span far and wide in the video game industry. His code is embedded in thousands of games played by millions of people around the world. Words can not express how sorely he will be missed or how deeply our sympathy runs for his family Andrew will always be in our thoughts and will never be forgotten. We love you Reisse. We at Kotaku would also like to wish our condolences to Reisse's family and friends. To contact the author of this post, write to stephentotilo@kotaku.com or find him on Twitter @stephentotilo.

Today I've noticed that whenever I load a page on Digi, Avast reports that it has blocked a suspicious connection to chats.lulzsec.com (although the website itself still loads). The issue doesn't seem to be browser-specific (having tested it in both IE and Firefox) and I have yet to see this occur on any other websites. I had my brother test it on his PC and the alert still registered (albeit only after I logged my account in on his computer), but I am running a scan on my PC just in case there is something going on locally.

Is this something I should be concerned about? To anyone reading this topic, have you also recieved any alerts?

Gold Prognosticus
Issue seems to have stopped now. I got as far as tracing it to the Chat (connecting directly via digibutter.nerr.biz:8080 triggered the alert once I entered my username and logged into the chat itself) before I stopped getting the alert on all pages.

Do you have what it takes to build a Digilization... err Civilization that can stand the test of time?

Welcome to the Digibutter Civilixation III Tournament!

Okay so over at the diginet navy we're putting together a Digibutter Civilization III match. The players for the most part have been decided. This is the inforation topic for those players.

The Rules:

1.Each turn cycle will last no longer than 3 minutes, if you are taking too long you will be asked to end your turn immediatley so the game is not haulted

2. We save every 15-20 minutes, in case of a game crash or a disconnect

3. Don't cry like a babby if you die

The game is at 9 PM EST

WHEN PLAYING: MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT EXIT THE GAME UNTIL AFTER I HAVE SAVED IT

The Players are:

Dimfish -America

MeowMixer - Aztec

Bobzearth - Inca

Slim - Japan

Step 1:

Get Hamachi:

http://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi/download.aspx

Yes yes I know "blah blah blah bloatware" but the best way to make a stable server in civ III is either doing some crazy decade old server set up shit or this, and this is frankly alot easier and probably way more stable since it acts as a direct LAN connection.

Step 2:

Join the Hamachi Game Group:

Netword-ID: Digi-Civ

Password: digibutter

Step 3:

Get Civ III:

http://store.steampowered.com/app/3910/

or if you're too cheap for 5 bucks

http://tinyurl.com/c5jsd5d

so yeah once you have civ III insalled:

get into the hamachi group

and then in civ III load the conquests exe

go to multiplayer in the main menu

select LAN when the options come up

and enter the Digibutter_Game

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

How to play civ:

FIRST AND FOREMOST: To chat in mulitplayer simply press the "~" key to open a message window.

Here is a list of the civilizations available to play as: http://www.civfanatics.com/civ3/civilizations/

When in multiplayer we are going to be playing in a mode called "simultaneous"

This means we all move our Units(which are kind of like chess pieces but with special uses(workers will build things in your cities, military units fight, settlers build cities)) at the same time or we use our units ability all in one turn, and then once we've all finished our turns it has a action timers that runs a cities production(which is used to make things), food, and wealth, and then the next turn begins and you can use your units again.

The game starts you with three units:

A Settler, who will found your capital when told to

A Worker, who can work tiles within your cities boards

and A Warrior, who can explore unknown areas, which will be covered by a black shadow, OR they can fight other units/siege cities

To make one unit fight another or attack a city simply use the movement command to make him attack.

Units are commanded by the unit interface at the bottom middle of the screen, alongside a unit and civilization info window to the right and a minimap to the left:

If you hover the mouse over one of the buttons it tells you what it is.

To edit a city, simple right click on it and choose one of the drop down options that appear.

To win Civ you either launch a spaceship, go for th cultural victory, take over the economy, or take over the world by force.

That was my crappy guide to civ. Hope it helped.

Super-Claus

Night one results- Dimfish is in first, previously followed by Bobz, but he disconnected and was destroyed, so now second place is held by Slim, and meow is ranking in third.

Night one may be deleted and re-done tomorrow since bobz dc'd, maybe this time ph1r3 will show up

Night one omitted, we're going to start over with ph1r3 and bobz, hopefully no one crashes this time.

Super-Claus
Night Ten Results:
AND THE WINNER IS:
BOBZ!!! Yes bobz won with a score of 1268!
Following in second was Slim with a score of 1100,
in third was Meow with a score of 923,
and in last was Dim with a score of 541.
Thank you all for participating and I hope to see you int he next tournament!

The web version now lets users follow and unfollow profiles, display friends and followers, and adjust profile and Miiverse settings. Also, for those curious about the Wii U world but without a Nintendo Network ID, any Miiverse post is viewable even if you're not signed in, as long as you have the URL. As EA discontinues its Online Pass system for future games, existing passes are also getting the axe, making some content and even full games free, first on Xbox 360. Over the coming weeks, EA will get rid of Online Passes in its games, corporate communications rep John Reseburg tells Game Informer.

"As we discontinue Online Pass for our new EA titles, we are also in the process of eliminating it from all our existing EA titles as well," Reseburg says. "We heard the feedback from players and decided to do away with Online Pass altogether."

When the rollout is complete, EA Sports games will no longer prompt players to enter an Online Pass code, and other games will offer content for free, Reseburg says.

NeoGaf member MMaRsu compiled a list of Xbox 360 EA games that already offer free content once barred by the Online Pass, including a free copy of the original American McGee's Alice, Bad Company 2 VIP, Mass Effect 2: Cerberus Network, and more, listed in full below.
